Highly recommend, fantastic Italian food.

We are staying nearby, and decided we'd treat ourselves and go out for tea. (evening meal). I has seen this little restaurant on a walk the previous morning. It is a family Italian restaurant, with the service to match. Fabulous.We are from the uK, though take our Italian food seriously! Atmosphere; small room, laid out well, welcoming, not too overwhelming. It is a BYOB restaurant so soft drinks only, unless you bring you own. There were plenty of bottles of wine on tables around us :) Service was impeccable from the first moment, shown our table, drinks and garlic bread included in the price of the chosen meal. Friendly, professional, helpful, lovely kind staff, nice to chat to. Food - Was gorgeous. I had the chicken parasean, it was really good. My daughter pasta chicken & broccoli was perfect too. beautifully cooked and seasoned. just good real Italian food. Highly recommend. Im not sure I can suggest anything for improving tbh as we had just what we wanted. If we return to the area, we will definitely be back. Wishing the owners every success for many years to come.

Vitalia is a very nice neighborhood restaurant. It's not white table cloth and it's not fine dining, but the food is very good and the service is attentive and friendly. We met some friends who recommended it so strongly that I fear our expectations were too high, but there's no doubt Vidalia is a great place to go and, though a little expensive, is worth the money. What we liked: the Vidalia loaf appetizer, the Linguini di Mare with pesto sauce, and the tiramisu. What disappointed us: octopus appetizer (where's the octopus?) and the veal (tough) marsala. Our server confessed to being new, but she was excellent - as was the rest of the staff (relaxed, cheerful, attentive).

Fabulous 70th birthday dinner party for my husband!

We were thrilled to host a 70th birthday party with 25 of our closest friends and family members at Vidalia’s. We had the entire restaurant to ourselves on a Monday night.The owner and servers could not have been more accommodating. The food was plentiful and delicious. The party was slated to end around 8:30 but we ended up staying much longer. The food and atmosphere was just great. Highly recommend the vodka rigatoni and the appetizers which included calamari, artichoke hearts and stuffed mushroom, all fabulous. We never felt rushed and our friends with special food needs were easily accommodated. We will definitely celebrate our next big event there if possible. Kudos to owner Sal and his waiter Joe and everyone else who made the party so wonderful.

My extended family and I decided to try this place for lunch since it's close to where my wife works. It looked pretty busy, and based on the reviews, I was hopeful. I was wrong to be hopeful. The service, although friendly, was very slow. It took a very long time to be waited on, take our orders, etc. The food took so long that my wife had to leave to go back to work after barely trying her food. Both my father-in-law and I ordered the bourbon bacon wrapped shrimp appetizer. It was not very good. The sauce was runny, the shrimp were on the small side for being jumbo, and the bacon just didn't taste right. I ordered the chicken franchaise. There was almost no taste to the sauce and came with cheap pasta. The chicken was not of high quality either. Some of the pasta dishes and specials we ordered were just ok. The soup that was ordered was barely touched because it just lacked flavor. For what they are charging, I would have expected much better. I will not return.

Poor Service !!!

My wife had made dinner reservations to celebrate my birthday and I was very much looking forward to it as this was one of our favorite restaurants. Based on this most recent experience, we will no longer be dining there. The service was HORRIBLE. Our order was taken and in an appropriate time, appetizers were served, as we are eating the appetizers, the server said our salads will be coming out. I asked that they wait until we finished the appetizers, no problem, even though I felt there was not a need to say that. Salads were delivered, no issue. Then we sat and sat and sat, minimally 30 minutes passed and I inquired about our entrees, the server said they will be out shortly the kitchen was backed up due to a big party inside. That is not my problem, if the kitchen cannot handle all customers, then something's wrong. In fact patrons who were seated after us received their food. So we sat, another server asked if everything was ok, I replied we are waiting for our dinner. FINALLY our dinner came. My wife's dinner was fine, mine not so fine. I ordered the steak medium well. I cut into the steak and it was cooked medium rare, made a few more cuts and all revealed a medium rare cooked steak was being served. The server did the complimentary "is every thing ok" stop and I said my steak is not prepared to what I requested. I showed him and asked how would he described it, he said medium rare. He took it back to the kitchen, 10 minutes later, the SAME cut up steak was served, I cut into it and it was still medium rare which a different waiter agreed . The waiter took it back came back to the table to inform us, it will be at least 20 minutes until my steak will be ready, in the meantime, my wife finished her dinner. My wife felt bad since this was to be a birthday celebration. I told the waiter to keep the steak and give me the check. He said he will deduct my dinner from the bill. I thought perhaps the owner would have came to the table to discuss this situation, but I guess his priority was the big party inside. Needless to say, as I previously mentioned, we will no longer dine at Vidalia's.

Best place to host a baby shower

Hosted my daughter’s baby shower at Vidalia’s in Sept 2024. Salvatore and his entire staff were friendly and professional. The food was amazing, large portions, cooked to perfection and plated beautifully. The price was more than reasonable for a luncheon with 3 courses. We chose to bring the cake, although Salvatore offered to make us a cake. We were out on the covered patio on a beautiful fall day with access to a courtyard. They have a grass wall that made decorating easy. We couldn’t ask for more.

The servers were nice but the food.....

I enjoyed the atmosphere and BYOB, however the food was not great. I ordered Lasagna and it taste like the canned chef boyardee or frozen. The noodles were burnt and it had no taste. I would say that’s the worst lasagna I ever had. I told the waitress I didn’t like it and she took it back and I got Vodka Rigatoni instead and that was even worse. As I was chewing I crunched on raw garlic which turned me off altogether. I finished my wine and we called it a night.

Great food and service.

We both had specials last week. My wife had the seared scallops with asparagus and risotto. I had the stuffed chicken breast with spinach, cheese and prosciutto topped with a mushroom gravy. Both were excellent. We also had the stuffed mushroom app and it was also very good. Our server was McKenzie and she was great. Knew everything about the menu and very attentive. Thanks for another great night.

Small Family/Friends Gathering Wedding Celebration

The owner and staff were very accommodating and made us feel right at home. Their attention to detail is commendable; everything was set up as expected. The food was outstanding and the service was courteous, efficient, and professional. Our guests raved about the entire experience! We are extremely pleased that we chose to host our celebration at Vidalia’s, and we very much look forward to dining there frequently in the future.

Wonderful evening

I have only been here a few times. We were here for an early dinner, so we were able to choose a table with a little bit of privacy. The offerings of the restaurant are so diverse and plentiful that one (as in I) can be indecisive. I very much liked my pasta though I went with the conventional "popular" dish, the vidalia, which I would probably not try again though I thought it was lovely. My husband was delighted with his chicken parm, which is as good or better than other spots that I've been. I haven't ever had anything quite like the stuffed vidalia onion, which I loved and would order a thousand times over. Wait staff was good and attentive. Get the garlic bread. And, of course, BYOB!

We had my mothers 80th Birthday celebration with 45 people on a wonderful Sunday afternoon on February 2nd. We continue to get calls from guests how wonderful the ambiance, food and service were. It was perfecto! Couldn’t imagine a better party for my mother.

Wonderful Place For a Party!

We hosted my mom's 80th birthday party at Vidalia's. The food was out of this world and the service was impeccable. My mom and many guests can not thank us enough for such a wonderful celebration. We have also been to Vidalia's for lunch and dinner and they never disappoint. This is a place you should consider if you love delicious food!

Wonderful time at Vidalia Restaurant

My party of 6 had a wonderful time celebrating my Dad's 96 birthday at Vidalia's last night. All our meals were outstanding. The calamari appetizer was the best we ever had. The service was impeccable, and the staff was very friendly and attentive. I would highly recommend this restaurant.

Everything was perfect!

I recently held a baby shower in the patio area for my daughter. The wait staff was excellent and tended to our every request. The food was off the charts and thoroughly enjoyed by all of the 42 attendees. Sal has a very diverse and delicious menu which he should be very proud of. I would highly recommend Vidalia Restaurant. Most of our guests had to travel at least an hour to get there and said they wished is was closer to them so they could visit more often.

Referred by friend and our family has a dinner on Saturday night. Cozy, small local restaurant, pleasant atmosphere, good service. Food is good but very expensive. After long waiting, orders are fit to hunger mouth. YES, it is long waiting, we thought they forget our orders.

Thank you dining and your patience. Our food is made so order. I am glad you enjoyed your meal , we do make everything fresh to order. Inflation costs also has hit the restaurant business very hard after Covid shortages and rising food cost , adjustment to prices are needed for us to make profits.
