Was born and raised here! Ma De's caters to mostly locals. If your a traveler I say skip this place its very local friendly only here and it's breakfast and lunch are ok. It's not bad just not traveler friendly.

Not one of the fanciest or fastest restaurants in the area but there is something so special about being there and meeting half the town. It's like having breakfast at grandma's house and knowing that most there will genuinely care about you. And of course there is the added benefit of having the lowest prices for miles around.

I had no idea I would wait 1 hr and 15 minutes for a "very regular" breakfast! Some other diners assured me that this was the norm. There was nothing quaint or cute about the place and we were very disappointed in the breakfast. Will not return!

This is simply the most authentic diner found anywhere in the east. The service can be fast or slow, but the food is fine, the prices ridiculously low, and the crowd is, well, the same crowd as has been coming for years. Just a great atmosphere. If you are looking for a chic experience, then look elsewhere. If you want... More

Ma's is Milford's local breakfast joint--lots of character and good food at low, low prices. I've never had anything I didn't like, whether it's eggs, pancakes or one of my favorites, grilled ham and cheese. On weekends John, the owner, makes outrageously delicious waffles with fresh fruit and fresh whipped cream. I'm not a waffle person, but I look forward... More

Great breakfast reasonably priced. Really good hashbrowns excellent bacon! It's a step back in time. Free refills on coffee. Great local place. Walked in the door greeted with hellos from people sitting at the tables😀

My wife and I stayed in Milford for our friends wedding, all four of went to Ma De's and we definetly stepped back in time. if it is crowed and it often is (breakfast and lunch) only, service might be a little slow, but the regular patrons will step in and refill your coffee, get up and get you water... Milford on the Delaware is the village time forgot, and Ma De's is its quintessential restaurant. Feels like stepping back into the 1950s or even earlier. It's the place to be if you're a local, or a contractor, or over 50, but it welcomes everyone who stumbles through the door. Service is very friendly and casual. If they're not busy,... More
