We had not eaten at Pub 199 since the rebuilding. Our recent experience was horrid. My husband's steak was so tough he could not eat. The server's response? "Sorry." She removed the lemons and butter before I had finished my lobster. Forget about getting her back as the service was not attentive. We asked for a substitution for the baked... More

If you love sitting down and tearing into some lobster or crab legs, this is the place for you. Always hot and fresh....just bring cash 'cuz they don't take credit cards.

We were in the area for a wedding and Pub 199 was recommended to us. As a Lobster lover we had to try it. I ordered the Lobster and two dozen clams. All I can say is Excellent!!!!!! My husband and a friend had the Lobster, once again Yummy. One in our party had a hamburger as he doesn't eat... More

I have never seen a restaurant like this before--food was good and reasonably priced, but the decor definitely is something to see!!

Best place for the price for 2 dozen clams with either a whole lobster, crab legs, king crab legs or steak!!! Cabin type setting with exotic taxidermy all over and a beautiful fireplace. Cash only, no dessert (not needed) and casual style. A MUST STOP!!! We have been going for years!!!

K.I.S.S., keep it simple, stupid is what I said to myself on the way. I knew of the place and was familiar with the menu and style of service. We went on a Saturday night. It was busy, but the wait wasn't terrible, as tables turn quickly. Its like a dining hall at a camp but with a bar. No... More

Called ahead to see if they had 6-8 lb lobster as per their special. I was told they had 12 and it's a first come first serve basis. We hopped in the car and drove over arriving 20 minutes later. You guessed it " Sorry we don't have any6-8 pounders, we haven't had them in a while." This is the... More

Best steamed clams; great place for clams & lobster or clams & steak combo. Good place to watch the game and dine at the bar. Cash only; no credit cards allowed but there is an ATM machine there.

Cash only, did I say cash only. They should have a sign on the front door. Decided to have the T-bone steak, Wow was it big. Too big to finish, and I enjoyed the fresh green beans. Oktoberfest beers are in and tried the one on draft.

Cannot find better clams and crab legs for the prices anywhere. Large crowd on weekends, but service still great and and lots of seating.
