This place is a hidden gem I’m beyond excited we found. The staff is beyond kind and warm, the restaurant is so pretty and the food....ahhhh the food is absolutely amazing! From the presentation and then to the taste. It reminds me of homemade taste...from Italy. Nothing is overly spiced. Everything is done to perfection. We even met the chef! They all Make recommendations...I could go on and on. The truth is, this is an absolute treasure I can’t wait to go back weekend after weekend. No need to go anywhere else.More

Went to La Cucina to celebrate my birthday with my wife.. The restaurant is beautifully appointed. We were immediately met by our server James.He did a fantastic job of making feel welcomed. We both decided to have Cappellini Granachio which is pasta with crab meat...in white sauce No sooner had we started to enjoy the warm bread with oil and pesto,that our meal arrived. Chef Ron is a master. The food was hot and favorable. The portion was ample and the taste delicious. We finished off the meal with a Black Out cake, a delicious dark chocolate mouse with chocolate cake, and icing. It was perfect to finish off our experience.The restaurant topped our dessert with a candle and sang happy birthday to me..Coincidentally 2 other tables were celebrating their birthdays at the same time.Evidently this is the place for special occasions. I will definitely be going back to try different entries. There are so many to chose from.More

My wife and I went to La Cucina on Valentine's Day. We had an early reservation in advance of a show in Atlantic City later that evening. It was a special occasion, and of course there was a price fixe menu. We started out with...Caesar salad which had just the right amount of dressing. Next course included the tomatoes and mozzarella and shrimp cocktail. The tomatoes and mozzarella were very good, although the mozzarella was chilled. The shrimp was fine but a bit watery. For the main course my wife had the chicken parmigiana-we both tasted it and it was superb. I had a veal dish which was good. We topped off the evening with the limoncello cake which was moist and delicious. The service was excellent and we'll definitely go back to sample other dishes.More

Celebrated our 59th wedding anniversary here. Each of us had a different plate and we were all very pleased. Our waitress and her help were very knowledgeable and kept checking to see if we needed anything. You definitely won’t be disappointed if you have a...meal here. You can BYOB too.More

I must admit I am spoiled. Italian at birth, great food at home all my life and special Italian dishes. And lastly a wife that loves good Italian and cooks it fabulously. So with that said this was boring and lacked any real flavor. Caneloni...bean soup was no flavor. Broccoli rabe lacked garlic and sausage was grainy and blah. Lastly the gnocchi dish didn’t have anywhere enough Gorgonzola and the pillows were stuffed with lead. Very heavy! And my wife and sister-in-law had capellini and meatballs. Very sweet and meatball tough. Sorry to say but it was not very good. The server and waitress were nice though. A shame cause we were looking for a new place to frequent. This is not it!More

Last night we were in Atlantic City and after reading the review in the Atlantic City Weekly, we chose to have dinner at La Cucina. All four people in our party said it was the best dinner we ever had. My husband and I spent...two weeks in Italy last November. Not one of the restaurants there had a better marinara than La Cucina. Two in our party chose Chicken Parmesan, one Veal Medallions, and one Chilean Sea bass with risotto. Everyone raved. I loved my Chicken and I tasted the fish. It was light, flaky, delicate and the best risotto I have ever had. We have all agreed this is our new go to meeting place. We come from Egg Harbor Twp, Tabernacle, NJ and Chalfont, Pa. Thanks to the chef, line cooks and serving staff. You were Excellent! Oh I forgot to say....every dessert phenomenal! Creme brûlée, chocolate mousse cake and cannolis. Yummy.More

We had delicious meals. Linguine and clams was a bit salty. Veal medallions with prosciutto was delicious. Scallop over risotto was yummy. Asparagus appetizer with mozzarella and tomatoea with balsamic was out odnllf this world.
