Went with out of town guests and it was fabulous. Tried the goat cheese and asparagus salad..perfect! Order the white spicy mussels, they were not spicy but very delicious. Waitress was friendly and attentive even though it was a busy Saturday night. Did not disappoint!

Always have great time, food and drinks. Great to visit for happy hour, must try mussels. Sometimes its little to loud

I have been dining at Ventura’s for more than 20 years so you know there are plenty of choices that have pleased me, especially the mussels, the burgers, the pizza and the Caesar salad. Last night I went there with two friends. We each ordered...a different salad for dinner (sizes are generous). The Caesar was as always good, however I chose the fajita steak salad. What a disappointment! My large portion of spring mix dominated the plate. My friends who had both gotten chicken on their salads had large portions of sliced chicken breast atop their meals. I had to search my plate to find the steak. When I did there were fewer than 8 skimpy pieces of overcooked meat ( I ordered it medium). There were about four or five tiny pieces of tomato. So basically I had a plate of greens and a glass of wine for dinner. No bread was offered to us. Very disappointing meal from my old standby.More

Went for business lunch here. Had the most incredible salad! Ensalada Portofino A mixture of fresh baby greens, baby spinach, port wine pears, crumbled bleu cheese, sliced strawberries, candied walnuts and fresh tomatoes with a strawberry vinaigrette dressing Can’t wait to order it again.

This a nice, comfortable place. Mostly locals go there, but if you like mussels you have to stop by the bar.

My son and I are from San Diego. We were in the area on business and drove from Atlantic City just for the mussels. The portion was very generous and absolutely delicious! We ordered the white. Dunking the bread in that sauce was Devine! The...pizza was also great. The staff is accommodating and the beer cold! I wish they were in San Diego!More

Good food ,great service, priced right! We have been going to this location for many years and it is very consistent.
