Went to dinner this evening. Had been to this restaurant in the past and was very pleased with the food. Tonight, not so much. One in my company had salad special with figs and walnuts, except that there was only a half of a fig...in salad. Burrata was very good, but that was highlight. I had chicken with prosciutto. Overdone and luke warm. My wife had veal that was just ok. Wait staff was very attentive. Maybe just an off day, but didn’t live up to past experience.More

Excellent food options. Eggplant Pamigiana was superb. BYOB and Bootleggers liquor store is next door. Ate at bar and it was a great experience. I was so surprised we just landed there by chance, I cannot recommend highly enough for excellent authentic Italian cuisine.

In the Atlantic City area Valentina’s at exit 36 of the GSP is a must. We celebrated with friends at an anniversary party and there was another celebration plus a crowded restaurant at the same time. The diners at our table enjoyed veal, delicious chicken...in a light sauce, salmon en papier and a pasta dish. The meal began with Caesar salad, followed by marguerita pizza and eggplant park. All tasteful and fresh. After dinner the canolies were mouthwatering and wonderful. The meal was served with wine and was enjoyed by all. We look forward to our next visit.More

Quaint little place just off Tilton road in Northfield, NJ. Not too far from Carluccio’s one of my favorites down the shore. First of all, the bread is amazing and is served with whipped ricotta and olive oil. Wife and I had pasta dishes that...were terrific. She had pappardelle with mushrooms, sausage and truffle cream that was excellent. I had braciole with gnocchi that was good. I have to say that the braciole was a little tough and a little bland, not enough garlic and minced onion, it’s the only reason why it only got 4 stars but definitely a must try. Now if Carluccio’s could only serve their bread, WOW!More

Now if you're from (or familiar with) South Jersey, you know we pluck delicious clams from our sandy shores year round. So many restaurants in the area serve them every which way, but my wife and I really enjoy clams with noodles. Valentina's serves a...beautiful dish of al dente linguine with sauteed clams in a beautiful garlic and wine broth that it one of their best offerings. The portion is small (average for the rest of the world), so it serves one better than two. We tried a few other things, and overall the food was quite lovely. Their brick oven margarita pizza (they offer two kinds) was also delicious. I wouldn't need their meatballs again (but they were still good), and I feel like the eggplant parm appetizer is a little hit-or-miss. The first time I had it, it was spot on (salted perfectly with sweet, red sauce); this time was certainly good, but it loses some of the crunchy consistency if it sits too long, and I felt it to be a little mushier than last time. For those dining in the winter, there is a room with a fireplace (but it's not always open unless they are really busy). Otherwise they will seat you in the small front room. It's also BYOB so don't forget your red at home. If you do there is a liquor store adjacent to the restaurant.More

Our family (Puertorican) had a meeting with our New Jersey’s Family members (The Italians) in Valentina’s Trattoria Italiana for an Excellent Tuesday Birthday Night Dinner. This is a wonderfull place. Excellent Ambience, Excellent Service, Excellent Location and Excellent Food. The bread is one of the...best so far (brick oven). We brought our own wine. We had tried some excellent appetizers: “Carpaccio di manzo”, “Bruschetta funghi tartufati e fontina” & “Burrata prosciutto e pomodorini dolci e mandorle”. For Dinner we ordered different entrees and shared it: “Lasagna Bolognese”, “Tagliatelle alla polpa di granchio e zucchine”, “rigatoni alla rosie”, “O’ salumiere Pizza”. To finish our experience we sang Happy Birthday to one of our family member. Excellent Restaurant. We highly recommend this experience.More
