Cannot say enough good things about this restaurant. Had an anniversary dinner last night and the staff went all out to make it a special occasion. From the initial greeting to the specially made up menu to the ending this dinner was special. Special attention was made to ask if either of us had any allergies both during the confirmation... Our nieces first communion dinner was made incredibly special by food with flavors that popped in your mouth. Original takes on classic dishes were a success from appetizers to deserts.

We had the privilege of having family celebration at this amazing restaurant. We had a room reserved for 20 people - half of the group were children. We had amazing appetizers - everything was great- lobster salad, and short ribs were the favorites. We had a unique white asparagus soup- I took a chance ordering it- and glad I did-... More

Wonderful. If you are in the Princeton area looking for fine dining, the Peacock Inn is the perfect place. Upscale and elegant, men, wear a jacket. Everything was 5 star. Only complaint was the food did not arrive hot, not good. Other than that, everything was so wonderful! Elegant and upscale. The food was wonderful and the service? You will... More

The Peacock Inn used to be a great restaurant...until it wasn't. They lost their chef and the menu narrowed to very simple choices. It was all very 1970's too, though the prices were definitely 2017. Well, they now have a chef who makes creative, modern menus centered around seasonal, (mostly) locally sourced ingredients. We had a post Valentine's Day dinner... More

After our last visit we were not anxious to return. The food was excellent, but the atmosphere was a bit stuffy. We were fortunate to receive a gift certificate and gave it another try and we are so glad that we did. The food is exceptional and the service was terrific--very attentive and friendly. Highly recommended for a special occasion--a... More

We recently ate dinner in the bar area. The room was nicely designed and had a great ambience. The service was top-notch: Our server was well informed, polite and not snooty. The menu was interesting, without being over the top. I have eaten at a few places lately where each item on the menu needs a thorough explanation, which I... More

My wife and I have been here several times and absolutely love the place. It has a small, quiet and very wall appointed restaurant. The food is excellent and the service is outstanding. The tasting menu is possibly the best either my or my wife have ever had, and we eat out quite frequently and in very good restaurants around... More

If you are looking for amazing food or a romantic night out, the Peacock Inn is a great choice. While on the expensive side, the food tastes amazing, is beautifully presented and combines wonderful flavors. I had the Brazino which was light, crispy and served with aged lemons and black lentils. My wife had the salmon. Both were light, flavorful... More

We went there for Thanksgiving and Christmas Eve. Both experiences were great. Lot more people on Christmas Eve. Both meals were delicious and slightly different. We had the same waiter both times and he remembered us...which was very nice. Started with a glass of proseco and then a chilled bottle of Cloudy Bay. Excellent!
