Food was good, overpriced, atmosphere was incredibly loud. Great location, but everything was overshadowed by how loud it was. Not a place where you could just sit and talk. Couldn’t wait for the evening to end because of the noise.

Hadn't expected this place to be open for lunch. The main restaurant wasn't, but there were a few tables outside and behind the sand dunes. A limited snack menu so we had fish tacos and coconut shrimp with a cocktail each. Enjoyed all of it...More

First things first - if you are looking to eat anytime before 7:30 I suggest you get there at 5 sharp, especially on weekends. The line was out the door and I don't think they take reservations unless it's a big party. The bar was...More

2 medium size crab cakes for $39 is bordering on the ridiculous! They were good but definitely overpriced by $10. Some other menu items were a little more reasonably priced but overall an extremely pricey restaurant.

It's as good as the other 3 options in town which is to say that it's ok. We went for drinks and appetizers and sat at the bar. The staff was a little standoff-ish which isn't the best approach. At one point another person joined...More

Pricey but worth it; blackened Maui and shrimp cooked perfectly; steaks were cooked as ordered and delicious, too; 8 of us, 7 different entrees, no complaints. Server was very attentive; got a little loud but easy enough to overlook that when the meal was so...More

The appetizer sampler was very good. But our entrees were so disappointing. Nothing they served tasted remotely like it should. Scallops were covered with something mysterious that had the consistency of oatmeal and only the day after did we guess it was some corn based...More

Although this restaurant is on the pricey side it is a stand alone as far as restaurants at the jersey shore. Great small plates if you are on a budget and the bar makes great drinks...martinis! Always very crowded on any weekend and the crowds...More

Been waiting to come here for my birthday and I was very disappointed. From the hostess to the waitress to Brian the... ."Manager". It was a total farce. Ordering clams that are bad is unfortunate having the waitress be sneid and the Manager Brian say...More

Delicious food here (try the broiled lobster tail.) A wide range of cocktails, wines and beers, all while gazing at the Atlantic. A cut above most seaside seafood places.

I am not really sure. I know they run specials during the off season (think there is a date night deal) but you should call the restaurant.

"Bringing Sexy Food Back"Executive Chef Michael Jurusz Bio It’s been said that art is everywhere, except it has to pass through a creative mind. Following that credo to a culinary end, Executive Chef Mike Jurusz has channeled who he is, where he’s been and where he’s going onto the plates of thousands of satisfied customers in his 27 years in the industry - earning his rightful place as one of the most renowned chefs at the Jersey Shore and in the state. From his salad days at the Ocean County Vocational School to his appetizer courses that led to a degree from the acclaimed Johnson & Wales University, the Brick native was determined to create main courses that would both thrill and fill. His subsequent travels would take him all over the country, working for some of the most accomplished chefs and helping him refine a cuisine indigenous to himself which he likes to call Trans-Continental Fusion. Over the years, Chef Mike has transformed several New Jersey restaurants with his own inimitable style as a technician on a mission to serve up something memorable, winning numerous awards for innovative and whimsical dishes that perfectly weave the bold and the subtle, earning plenty of play on the air and in print with his charm and appeal, all while establishing a charitable reputation for delivering to those in need from behind the line. After a two-year absence, Chef Mike celebrates his return to the Atlantic Bar & Grill in South Seaside Park, where he created a gourmet destination well worthy of the trip - and the return. Now that he’s back, Chef Mike invites you to come experience the new ABG under his direction and convection - and to remind you that your plate will always be his canvas.
