I came here for breakfast, wanting to experience again what it was to eat at an old fashioned dinner. I was not disappointed at all. First, I loved that most customers were familiar with the owners, calling themselves by their first names and ordering "the...usual". This means that you have a faithful group of customers which you only gain through good quality and better service. Seated at a traditional booth, my order was quickly taken, an omelet with just about everything in it. Started off with a good cup of American coffee, which usually is not my suit (i prefer espresso) but this coffee was quite good. Then came the food, and it was just impressive in size and flavor. It was more than i could eat, even though i was tempted to gobble it up all. I remained at the Dinner for a while, seeing customers go in an out, experiencing the small town dinner at its best.More

This is an old fashion diner Small inside with just a few booths and counter seats - which are not open for seating right now. Good breakfast. Ordered the pork roll (oops - they call it Taylor ham - LOL), egg and cheese sandwich with...a side order of home fries. The sandwich was cooked on the grill right in front of the the counter seats. Friendly service. The sandwich and fries were served hot. Good portion on the home fries - enough to take home for a side dish for dinner later. Looking forward to returning to sit down inside. They are currently open for breakfast, but close in the afternoon.More

for us coming from France, it was more than a dinner but just exactly as we imagined the authentic old-style American dinner! For us it was memorable. The meal is like a classic dinner but also good. We will not forget this moment. Vive l’Amerique...! 😊More

I'm celiac so sometimes diner food can be a little dicey for me...but my meal at The Summit Diner was terrific. I had the rice stuffed peppers, and the portion was huge, the flavor was great, and presentation lovely. No gluten issues whatsoever. Our server...was terrific too. This diner has an excellent menu & pleasant ambiance.More

My original expectation was that I’d feel like eh ok it’s some alright diner food in a really cool location. I was delightfully surprised to find food beyond diner caliber in a piece of history. It was a really delicious meal and I am without...a doubt revisiting. It was amazing food, a beautiful atmosphere plucked right from the 20s, and the prices are just irresistibly low. Next time, I’m coming for your breakfast!More

This is one of the most old-school simple diners I’ve visited. Basic and minimal menu but something for everyone even me, a picky healthy eater. The people who work there were all in sync like ballroom dancers on the floor but yet they’re fast paced...cooks, servers, and managers. Great attentive service, good quality food, and extremely reasonable prices. Crowded but nice people and locals. It’s worth a visit no matter where you live if you want good simple quickly served food. The pancakes are amazing and don’t even need syrupMore

Old timey diner in the center of chic Summit. Food was fast and cheap - after we had to wait outside to get a seat as it was packed on Sunday morning. We saw a lot of takeout going out the door. Amazing to watch...the behind the counter action.More

If you love diners, this place is for you! No menu, just a menu board. Lots of personality, nice service and great food. Order breakfast, you won’t be sorry!

Other than the typical diner fare, the Kale salad with salmon, the sweet potato fries and the Goulash - were an absolute hit. The seating in the booths was a little cramped - but the personalized service made up for it
