This is the second time I was at this establishment and I must say that Joe was in a good mood and was very helpful, this time we actually ate the food and it was delicious. We enjoyed it and was very happy with the service all around. Thanks for making this second try a pleasant one.

I try BBQ everywhere I go and was looking forward to this. The food was pretty good, I'd give 4* for the food. But the service was painfully slow (despite the fact we were one of two customers in the restaurant) and the help seemed almost disinterested in us. Once we were done and asked for the check (still only... More

One of our favorite places to eat in Teaneck. They focus on meat and have Fabulous Bar B Que and great burgers. Only place to go in the tri-state area if you want Kosher Bar B Que. Always top quality.

From the time you enter Smokey Joe's, until you leave, you are treated with respect. The wait staff know the menu, and can help you decide what to order by telling about each item, or recommending something based on what you are looking for.

Food is great. Awesome ribs and steaks. Lots of big table for big parties, burgers are also really good.

First, the food is good. The waiters are fine. The owner or manager that always there was beyond rude. Talked to my kids in a way that I'd consider therapy for them! Seriously, this place is a joke. There are plenty of restaurants in this area that have good food and a pleasant atmosphere. Go elsewhere or you'll be writing... More

Ate there last evening with wife. The restaurant was not very busy at the time. The service was prompt, friendly and helpful. Wife had grilled chicken sandwich on a good seeded roll. She said it was fresh and tasty. I had the on the bone ribs. This item comes with either 3 or 4 ribs (4th costs extra). I have... More

I was there last night with my family and had the worst experience in my life, Joe the owner was rude and unpleased and made such remarks about chasidish people that made us leave without finishing our food. I would not recommend this place.

After hearing about how good this place was from one of my in laws, we went with her. We were 8 adults and 5 children. One person in our party made the orders as she had been there before, she asked how many sliders come in a portion and when she didn't get a straight answer she asked how many... More

This is a local, Kosher restaurant. Accordingly, the barbecued meats do not include any pork products. In addition, as is often the case, Kosher food carries a premium price when compared to similar non-Kosher foods. The dinner I had there with a group of friends was satisfactory. Service was a bit spotty but the food was generally tasty, although some... More
