The Village Inn is a well established Italian restaurant in Wayne. The food is consistently good, whether it be a pasta, meat or a fish entree.

The family had Thanksgiving dinner at The Vilkage Inn today and was it a huge mistake. We all had the "traditional" turkey dinner and and not one of us had any thing good to say about the dinner. The antipasti were edible, but the turkey dinner was horrible. The turkey was larger portions of deli meat with gravy that had... More

From the beginning we were greeted by our waitress, and she was so nice and friendly. My husband and I had cocktails (they have a full bar), appetizer, salad and I had the Sunday pasta for entree, while my husband opted for the soft shell crabs; we enjoyed wine with our meal and then dessert and coffee. Everything was delicious.... More

We used a Restaurant.com coupon to take a risk and try this restaurant. What a find! This quaint restaurant is off the beaten path, but offers great food, friendly service and atmosphere. We had the pleasure of a table by the fireplace and a waitress that was very attentive and informative to help us choose our meals. We had clams... More

If you aren't going out to eat just anything bc you're hungry, choose another restaurant. I am sorry to say, and hope that the people who run the place see and understand that these reviews are to HELP them not to destroy them. The moment we sat down, I noticed an EMPTY bottle of VOSS water on all of the... More

My wife and I had dinner here on a Friday night & it was very good. The waitress was very friendly- I think her name was Michelle. There was a good crowd but not too crowded. I had the Ossobuco & my wife had the asian salmon. They were both quite good. We had the crab sliders as an excellent... More

The village inn is our favorite local restaurant. The comfortable environment, good food, good value, and friendly atmosphere are what draws us here often. The bar is nice and the bartender makes good drinks. The servers are always pleasant and efficient. Never disappoints!

It's true that you must know where to go to find this restaurant as it is at the end of a darkened street. Unfortunately we were seated at the smallest table for two when there were other tables available on a not so busy evening. The waitress, Heidi was both personable and attentive-a definite plus. We shared a Baked Brie... More

Talked with John about having a memorial dinner for about 20 folks in our family. He was most helpful & suggested the downstairs wine cellar. The oak wood gave a nice warm feeling. It was private, pleasant, & the food, the service, the patience of the waitress was fantastic. We ordered a variety of apps and everyone raved about them,... More

If we didn't research the area well before going it would be difficult to find. The building is so old and weathered that we weren't certain it was open. You enter into the bar area with the dining area to the left. The place looked and smelled old, definitely not a pleasant looking restaurant. Again the dining area was nothing... More
