We had a couple hours to kill before catching our bus, and we stopped in here. Very clean, a bit expensive by Myanmar standards, but the food was good. The best part is the deck on the river - it was breezy, and shady and really lovely to sit and watch the action on the river. I had an iced... More

On the Strand. Only stopped for iced coffee, but the menu looked good. The cafe was just tucked on the side of a large building (with a tourist information counter). The premises were clean and bright.

Main dishes were ok, but expensive (no prices on the menus). The service was inneficient and it was hot inside even if there is aircon. Don't take the ice cream, the taste was really bad and I got sick afterwards. I recommand to go in a better restaurant, which you will easily find in Maylawyine.

They have really good Asian dishes (just not the pad Thai!) and excellent coffee and fresh juice. It's a shame that they don't have breakfast with coffee that good. They could make a killing if they just offered fried eggs and toast! We were disappointed in the morning, but their watercress and garlic made up for it at dinner!

It has a good location next to river but I did not rate the food - the French fries especially were overcooked. The staff were attentive and pleasant. The menu is in English but no prices so you constantly have to ask. I asked one night how much the beer was, 1700 I was told the next night I didn't... More

I went there with friends and we choose outside table as smoking allowed. Very noisy and hot because of their air-con outdoor units nearby. Foods are just normal and expensive.
