Friendly greeting to a clean well presented restaurant by owner who speaks very good English. Good selection on the menu and very resonable prices, prompt service. Food was very good and piping hot with good traditional flavours. You cannot go wrong at this restaurant it is certainly the best in Phu Quoc.

My wife and I stayed at Mango Bay for 4 nights but eat in Sakura for 2 of them as it was better and better value than Mango Bay. We had the chicken in lemongrass, fish in chilli and lemongrass, chicken rice, deep fried potatoes which were the most gorgeous home made chips (or fries if you arent from the... More

We were visited the place on the last night before we left Phu Quoc. We order most of the dish that had recommended by TA, luckily the owner advise us so that we are not over order. Overall, good service, good environment and nice food. Spring roll is the must, sweet and sour fish fillets soup, curry chicken and end... More

Our food experience throughout Vietnam i have to say was disappointing on the whole. I had heard so many wonderful things regarding the food and as a foodie was very keen to get stuck in. Thank goodness for places such as Sakura, a 10 minute walk from the entrance to Eco Resort. We had several meals here and to be... More

Mrs. Kiem's restaurant was great! Simple, open-air place run by the family. We got the lemongrass/chili fish and the coconut squid. Dessert was on her recommendation: banana pancake with chocolate. Everything was great - the fish was especially noteworthy. One of the best seafood dishes I had in Vietnam. The prices are good and the atmosphere is simple but comfortable... More

I like the choice on the menu, it has foods with only vegetable, some with tofu or eggs. Ice coffee is too bitter for me and the noodle weren't fresh but at least i can order veg. The setting is nice and quiet. It's a OK place.

We visited Sakura 3 times during our stay in Phu Quoc. Food was always good & staff is nice. Price is ok compared to what you get. They make everything from fresh ingredients. The only thing they could improve is their english. The owner, mrs. Kiem speaks it very well, but her family (they run the place as a family... More

A small roadside restaurant in the vicinity of Mango Bay Resort. No frills, no romantic view, but great food at unbeatable prices, with a family style.

the food is ok, nothing special, they look cheap, but then you got what you paid. I ordered steamed squid with ginger, they are terrible, not fresh, and very tiny squid. Vegetable is ok.

The food was great - authentic Vietnamese food and there is a lot to choose from. The family that owns the restaurant was very hospitable and lovely, and the owner (Sakura) was a pleasure to talk to and had amazing stories to tell. Definitely worth a visit!!
