Elisas is in an alley in Deming and I'm glad I found it. The pie is nothing short of melt in your mouth good. I had the Carmel pecan and it was hands down the best piece of pie I have ever had. If you find youself in Deming make sure you stop here for a piece of PIE

We were travelling from Las Cruces to Tucson and looking for breakfast. Elisa's is set back from the road behind the Wells Fargo parking lot. We had to circle around the block to find it, but, MAN, what good breakfast! French toast, eggs, hash browns, bacon and probably some of the best biscuits we've had anywhere. To top it all... More

Great breakfast with the additional bonus of local color It's behind 208 in the alley so park on Silver and walk around the corner! We were on our way home to Houston on a Sunday and it was worth the coffee and pie Great Grits too!

We stopped in for lunch while driving from Tucson, Arizona back to Houston, Texas. The reviews seemed pretty good but it was a little bit hard to find the place on what appears to be a alley behind a large Wells Fargo branch office. This is a really tiny place but I loved it. We were served by Elisa and... More

This is an interesting mom and pop business. Small, but with an interesting menu. The portions were right sized. Three sides plus corn bread with every entree. I loved the barbecue brisket and my wife loved her meatloaf dinner. The pies were awesome.

My husband and I stopped here for breakfast and it was some of the best food ever. Everything was home cooked and the owners were very friendly. The woman talked to us and I learned so much about the town since we're from out of state. I would definitely go back.

Fine soul food, tiny place, not where I would have expected such fare. Okra, yams, brisket, bittermilk pie! Elisa serves in many ways.

A dark, dingy, cluttered spot off an alley with pie that tasted like rancid fat and watery coffee, slow service. The person in charge could not have been nicer or more gracious, but don't go with visions of sugar plums dancing in your head. To be fair, the friend we went with was more forgiving of the inferior food, as... More

Home cooking at it's best. Stopped for breakfast after spending the night in town on our way further west. Great southern cooking, exceptionally excellent pies, terrific owners.

We had a wonderful dining experience in Deming, NM. What a delight to meet the owners. They were welcoming and it felt like we had been invited into their home for a meal. The brisket sandwich was tender and the BBQ sauce was amazing. The real treat was the Millionaire Pie. I've never tasted anything like it. Thank you to... More
