Ate her early on New Years Eve. Service was very good. We had several servers assist us and kept table clear of empty plates. Food was very good, maybe a little pricey on some things, but overall good value. The only problem with several servers is, our check was brought to us (by a server not our main one) before... More

We walked into this restaurant without a reservation for an early dinner. We were greeted warmly and immediately seated. Our cheerful and efficient server appeared quickly with warm bread and took our wine order while we reviewed the menu. Our food came quickly and was delicious - steak for my husband and steak and lobster for me, both paired with... More

We were very impressed with the efficient, professional & friendly service. We enjoyed their 8oz hamburgers and selected their homemade chips and sweet potato fries as our sides. I also indulged with a cup of their delicious green chile/steak stew. Two glasses of wine, a beer, two dinners and our bill was under $50. The restaurant was busy but we... More

Wonderful service by Jenna and very good food including wonderful meats. In addition, an unexpectedly large and excellent wine list in a very local decor.

We were driving thru New Mexico and we decided to stop here. The décor was great. Our server was top-notch and we really enjoyed our meal. The best restaurant that I have ever eaten at in New Mexico,

Great steaks in a very nice old-style Western environment. We loved the food. Admittedly not cheap but great quality. I can definitely recommend it.

It's hard to believe this restaurant was rated as high as you had it! The restaurant itself was cute nicely decorated. The food however not up to the prices which we're really expensive. We consider trip advisor the gold standard of ratings and this was the first time we have been disappointed. We are wondering how they got all these... More

When traveling through Gallup NM, we asked the hotel staff where we might dine that evening. The suggestion was made for the Badlands Grill. When traveling on the interstate, expectations for great food are set at a low bar. So, what a nice surprise to dine at the Badlands Grill. The food and the service was exceptional. Wine list was... Not a chain, Badlands offers true New Mexico hospitality and taste- for those of you traveling through, it's the place where locals go when they want a meal that's truly a cut above the rest, and relax with friends and neighbors. There's no dress code...no pretentiousness...just beef that's been wet-aged for 21 days, cut in-house and cooked to order...combine these with an ice cold beer or excellent bottle of wine... and you've got the stuff a cattleman's dreams are made of!
