We, my Wife and Self, didn't want much (we are 66 me, 61 she) and wshed to split a Sandwich order--if they'd let us...They were cheerful about cutting the sandwich in two and bringing us the Flavored Tea we were hankering for! Very Good Iced Tea full of ice (was early Aug. and Hot that day. and lots of Fresh... More

Great and happy staff, form the time you walk in the door. Everything came as ordered and the waitress was very attentive and "happy" to be there! Food was excellent, there were 4 of us and 3 different orders, all great!

Take the time to look at some of the history on the walls, but then stay for the food. Many places in Gallup close on Sundays but not the Coal Street Pub. We're glad it was open. Didn't realize the lunch portions would be so big. Great food, but way too much of it. Wasted a lot more than i... More

We have lived in the Gallup area about 8 years and just ate here recently. The food wasn't bad, but nothing special. It's fun to look at all antiques and old road signs on the wall. Worth the visit.

We got excellent service here, and spent a lot of our time admiring the history and memorabilia all over the walls. Most of it was collected from family archives of the owner (get here quick- rumor has it he is selling the place, and if he does, who knows what'll happen to the mementos?) Food was an eclectic mix, so... More

Don't travel thru Gallup all that often, so our dining choices were already established. This time one of them wasn't open, so we finally got off the main drag and discovered this eclectic pub on Coal. Delightful and 😋 delicious! Lots of menu choices to choose from. Good friendly service. Lots of interesting wall ornaments to look at while waiting.... More

A popular place with locals. We chose the special for lunch which was a Green Chili Stew served with tortillas. It was excellent! We chose draft Deschutes Black Butte Porter to drink. The waitress and staff here were extremely friendly and provided excellent service.

What a lucky pick for Fri. dinner. Found out they had music tonight, that was deciding factor. I had the best Alfredo sauce ever, with shrimp fettuccine & fresh salad. The food was great, Alyssa was a very attentive waitress. The music duo were terrific; singer with guitar & lady playing violin kept us mesmerized. Definitely would return next time... More

Lived in Gallup and this was our go to place with friends for lunch or dinner . It is down in the historic part of town and has history all over the walls. Live music on weekends. We love family run places and the pride of ownership. They do fish, beef, salads and Mexican food well. Enjoy an authentic experience.
