Though we would try a restaurant close to the hotel, which was across the street. My wife had the taco plate and I had the ribs. There were out of beef ribs already and I was lucky to get pork ribs. I was real pleased with my choice. My wife didn't like her choice. I would give it a try,... More

Dick's doesn't try to be elegant but they've got a great menu, efficient, friendly service, and very good food. The choices are so generous that you can pretty much order anything just the way you like it. Burgers, barbecue, and Mexican specialties dominate the menu and come with soft drinks, beer, and wine. Everything we ordered was tasty and our... More

My way had the ala carte green chile burrito and it was huge. The filling was good beef chunks with great seasoning. My red enchiladas made with the Chile con carne beef, 2 eggs, rice, and beans was outstanding.

We were driving south on Valley today and saw Dick's Café. We thought it looked like a blast from the past, so we stopped for lunch. Had delicious hamburgers and outstanding french fries - great choice to stop here. Found out that the fourth generation of one Las Cruces family runs this cafe! We will definitely come back.

I had the hamburger with fries, and we also tried the ham and cheese sandwich with chips. They do not serve coffee after 11 am ( when breakfast stops) so we went with water. The menu on the website is very old and needs to be replaced (see the steak prices). There was a steady stream of customers. The food... More

I love a good diner burger. This place is just the ticket! Great burger and friendly service! I usually go in for coffee and then stay for lunch! Really enjoy it!

I went to this legendary highway cafe that has been part of the dining scene for more than half a century. I hit before the large lunch crowd arrived, but after my experience, I'm not sure why they are so busy. it could be because it is economical? I ordered a chopped brisket sandwich (which was smoked with pecan wood)... More

We stopped here for a late lunch and my husband and I both had the hamburger. It was one of the best burgers I have had. I typically don't order burgers out, but was glad that I did. It was seasoned perfectly and cooked well done but it was not dry. We both commented on how good it was. The... More
