We ate at Cha Chi's based on TripAdvisor reviews. The reviews were not wrong! The restaurant is near the campus of New Mexico State University. We went early and it was already full inside - we ate at an outside table. By the time we left, there was a line of people waiting to get in. The portions were large,... More

This place is a gem! My husband said the Chili Rellenos were some of the best he's had. I had Pork Carne Adovada Tacos al Pastor . They were excellent. Everything we had was first rate, and the price was right. The margarita was perfect and came with extra salt, just as requested.

Visited here twice during our winter visit and enjoyed both. Seems to get busy about 5:30 or so, but the tables turn over so the wait is not bad (don't know about later). This weeks visit had us sharing combo plate with 2 enchilades, chile con carne, and a tamale. My wife thought the tamale was great and I thought... More

This place is wonderful! The hotel recommended ChaChi's and it was great. When we first looked at the menu we thought it was pricey but when the waiter came to take our order he told us that we were probably ordering to much and we should order less and add to it if we think we need to. He said... More

There is no shortage of Mexican Restaurants here in Las Cruces. Cha Chi's is a popular restaurant with what I would consider as run of the mill Mexican cuisine. Their menu selections are, by and large, more varied than other competitors. It is quite busy at lunchtime, with the hard ceilings and walls the table conversations very quickly become almost... I had green chili chicken enchiladas. They were very good. Husband had special Chuperas?? Second item under Entrees. They were very hot and he said they were not very good. The bill including two waters was right at $20 which included tip.

Friendly staff, great menu, good service, awesome flavor! Our favorite is the 1lb hamburger streak smothered on queso and onions. Served with beans and rice or French fries. We share it. ......fabulous, for $11.99

This was my first time coming here and I really did not have high expectations. But it was fantastic. I had the brisket tacos. They were delicious. And the margaritas are huge.

Dependable service, good food, friendly atmosphere. If you are in the area and want a good meal with no hassle this is the place. Reasonable price, I like their soups, very hearty.
