This is a reliable restaurant for nouveau Italian cuisine. I think this restaurant would survive in great restaurant cities like Portland or SF. Excellent service, varied menu, mid-size servings which I prefer, superb freshly baked bread, excellent ambiance with white tablecloths and napkins, olive oil,...More

Many very good choices and wait staff handles your needs and restrictions with particular attention. I choose the flounder which is exceptional on a regular basis . But all the entrees are delicious and prepared with care.

While the service was exceptional and the food quality great, this is a bit pricey. Four ravioli and some bread for $17 total a bit much for lunch.

My wife and I, my sister in law and brother in law included, we had a great meal. Great recommendation from our innkeeper. The decor surprised us, fancy surroundings for a ' cafe '. Our waiter was very friendly and attentive to our needs. The...More

Yes, we were eating in an Italian restaurant, but I had read so much about the chicken soup, I had to try it. WOW! It was far from your usual noodle soup. Large chunks of flavorful chicken, crisp vegetables, al dente pasta served in a...More

Do not let the western sounding name of this restaurant or the very large ITALIAN RESTAURANT sign on the outside put you off. There is a real chef here cooking outstanding Italian cuisine and the decor itself is delightful with rod iron furniture and white...More

We had lunch outside on the back patio for my father's birthday. It was a beautiful day, and even though the patio wasn't officially open, they set up a table for us. Our pastas were delicious, and everyone we dealt with was gracious and welcoming....More

Lots of history in the building and area, thick adobe walls and a great atmosphere. More parking around back if you come during busy hours. Have eaten here a few times, enjoyed the pork and beef dishes more than the chicken for what it's worth...More

Over last 3-years, dined here several times when visiting Taos 3-4/year. By far the best Italian food in an area that has otherwise poor Italian options. Other non-Italian offerings are very good too. Their bread-basket is great (most restaurants are poor in this area), w/tasty...More

What does the Mangia Festa consist of? Are there choices and what are they? Do they change from week to week or always the same? Maybe that menu should be listed along with the regular menu.

There are around 3-4 choices. Always a pasta dish and I can't remember the others or specifics. I'm also not sure if they change. It's a bargain though and you won't go away hungry for sure. Yes, Kimberly should probably... More

Yes, they just started offering Sunday brunch from 10:00 am 'til 2:00? It is buffet style but one can also order eggs. Cost is $15, not including beverages.
