We didn't try the cafe that does have a few reasonably priced items, but don't expect to pick up something here that you forgot to bring with you - $5 for a loaf of bread.

This is a place to eat with the locals. I can best describe the food as eclectic, small-town Arizona. The owner and staff are very personable. When in the area, you need to eat here.

Great food, friendly owner and great service. This little side of the road Cafe is nothing fancy but it is clean and good. We will definitely return if we're in the area again. Pleasant surprise.

Sweet unspoiled desert cafe with good reasonably priced food and a charming staff. We always stop here on the scenic, less travelled road between Tucson and El Paso. Now this cafe + the Chiricahua Desert Museum makes Rodeo the preferred route for tourists between these 2 cities.

Best BBQ frozen steak burger in town, comes in packets of 4, the ULTRA Fresh Bread you have to ask the attendant for because it is kept in the back of the store! (or if you need buns) If you need small quantities of cheese, butter or eggs, they are willing to accommodate, great customer service! I will return to... More

This cafe has great food and service with free wifi. We had a good burger with homemade fries. The bathroom needs some TLC.

My husband and I were more or less "forced" to go to Rodeo (10 miles from Portal, where we were staying) ... because there was no restaurant or COFFEE where we were staying. EVERYONE was welcoming and friendly (beyond usual) and the service &food was excellent. We had breakfast there two mornings ... and are contemplating on staying in Rodeo... More

On a tour of Arizona with my brother who delights in 'the great american breakfast'. By the time we got to Rodeo he had given up as I'd booked us into all sorts of quirky places that gave us wholefood breakfasts. He was rescued by our only foray into New Mexico. The Cafe at Rodeo served an American breakfast to... More

The daily special - chile con carne - was very tasty, as were the sweet potato fries. The patty melt was delicious and on rye bread as it should be. Service was very good. We always enjoy eating here when we're in the area.
