Enjoyed dining here but not 5 star worthy. Menu very limited. When only 5-6 entrees there are usually specials but there were none. No fish available. I had the romaine salad, very good, and pasta which was quite tasty, however, I could count the strands of...More

We ate here last weekend when visiting Taos. It was perfect. We were seated outside and it was a little chilly but the heaters and blankets provided were so comfortable. The menu was superb. Recommend the trout or tamales. We finished off by sharing the...More

Three of us enjoyed a dinner here - agreed that it must be the best or almost the best place in town. Food was traditional (carne adovada), yet creative (watermellon salad). Wine was wonderful! We will return! Loved the charming little rooms!

So, you sit and look at the mountains while being served by staff that are exceptionally knowledgeable and friendly and then you eat a meal of totally fresh ingredients expertly prepared. What else is there??

My husband and had dinner here on Friday night. We loved their trout dish. Their tamales dish was good. I wish they had more options in the menu. Over all it is a good dining experience.

Oh, yes. This was a good evening! The atmosphere was lovely, and the food - we had the pasta - was superb. Pasta taken to a new level. The service was down-to-earth, and some staff maaaaybe want to consider the fine line between "informal" and...More

We were in Taos on the last night of an anniversary trip, and went to El Meze. The courtyard seating has an open wall looking out onto a desert garden (very well done) and a perfectly framed mountain. Very nice as the sun sets. The...More

We are a very small boutique restaurant. We are about quality not quantity so we keep our menu limited to what we can execute to provide stellar food consistently in a timely fashion. We are not a restaurant meant for... More

This is not a question but an opinion on how I deal with social media reviews. When a customers tells me or their server that everything is "fine" why would I think anything else. But then they post to the contrary, you... More

We are located in the El Torreon Hacienda built in 1847 which reflects our philosophy, our food and the historical influences of Taos. From June - September we have patio seating under a tent with twinkle lights and the most incredible view of Taos Mountain.
