Excellent, flavorful meal served with attentive, knowledgeable waitstaff. Well-prepared cocktails added to the experience. Highly recommended. We'll return when we're back in Taos.

When we travel-it is all about the food. This restaurant certainly met our expectations for a fine dining experience---but in a low key and comfortable manner. We ate at the upstairs bar giving us the tips from the staff as what to enjoy. Green Chili Stew is to die! Great cocktails and exceptional service.

One of the best places in Taos. The food and service are always impeccable. The food is fresh, in-season, largely locally (or regionally) sourced, and excellent, with service to match. I look forward to dinner (and lunch, too!) at Lamberts almost as much as I look forward to visiting Taos itself. Highly recommended.

The food is gourmet, the waiters and staff are fun, helpful and efficient. There's a gorgeous bus girl who is very knowledgable about Taos and the surrounding area. It's what you would expect in the Southwest.

Last Saturday a group from the New Mexico Women in the Arts had a wonderful lunch at this charming restaurant. The staff were exceptionally efficient and friendly handling a large number of meals promptly. Soups and salads were delicious. Nat Troy, the owner, generously hosted our members enabling us to add his donation to our scholarship fund. Thank you Nat!

This restaurant should really show $$$$ instead of $$$. The happy hour has $6 appetizers and drinks, which are good (5 star) and plentiful. I think these end at 6pm. But then the prices at dinner skyrocket. I had the mango enchilada which was $24. It was good, not great (could have done WITHOUT the mango) but it wasn't a... More

A friend and I stopped in Lamberts for happy hour prior to traveling to meet another friend. We were able to secure nice comfortable seating upstairs outside of the bar to chat and have a relaxing drink. Appetizers are $6 a piece. We had a salsa and guacamole w/ chips plate which was ample for 2. A nice selection of... More

Very good food - the pork chop is amazing! Excellent service as well. Great fun bar if you can get in, crowded during happy hour at the bar. Prices seem a little high for Taos - more like we would expect where we live in Southern California, but a very nice experience.

While skimming lots of Taos tourist paraphernalia, I read that Lambert's was voted the #1 restaurant in Taos, 2015. I am not surprised. My husband and I went for lunch yesterday. We sat in a lovely patio and relaxed over wonderful squash/apple soup. We shared a club sandwich with REAL ham, REAL bacon, and avocado. Our waiter Jason was very... More

We arrived a bit early and had a drink before dinner in the upstairs bar, a cozy and unpretentious loft. Dinner was superb - we had the rack of lamb and salmon for our main courses. I was really impressed with the dessert selection, and enjoyed tremendously the pumpkin cheesecake. By far, the best thing about our dinner was our... More
