A very good southwestern style restaurant located in a historic building. The food was great, the service was excellent and the prices were surprisingly fair considering the tourist location. Enchiladas were delicious, ribs were messy-good, corn bread was...good but "different", almost quiche-like in texture. Highly recommend! Be sure to read the history lesson on the menu.

A lady from a nearby shop had us heading to the bar/restaurant at Taos Inn. We were actually seated in the Adobe Bar area – we arrived about ten minutes before dinner menu was available. Our waitress took our orders, letting us know it would be a few minutes before the kitchen would get started on it. Those who ordered... More

Every time I go to the Taos Inn the treatment is horrible - from front desk staff to the wait staff. The last time we were there - the wait staff would go by our table and say really rude things to get us to leave - it was 2 pm on a Saturday in December. Yes, it was a... More

We have been to Taos many times over the years and have stayed in several places. We finally decided that the Taos Inn is our preferred place. The rooms are great, the plaza is close, dinners and breakfast are yum, and the entertainment is a fun experience. We always go back. Highly recommended.

Every time we go to Taos, we go to Doc Martin's. Other places come and go, this one stays and stays. We eat both breakfast and dinner there, making it easy, convenient, and knowingly perfect when staying at the Taos Inn. We've gone elsewhere and always return to the basics: good, convenient, yum.

Service was so-so, scallops were delicious but smoked trout was difficult to find amongst the pile of greens.

After a long drive on a rainy night my husband and I arrived for a stay at the Taos inn. We decided to dine in at Doc Martin's. We were greeted and served promptly with our cocktails. Much needed and medicinal at that point in our night. My husband had a lamb and pork special. The lamb was succulent, the... More

We ate breakfast and dinner at Doc Martin's on a recent Taos stay. The preparation and the presentation of our entrees and table service were all above average. We would recommend it on your next visit to Taos.

I understand that as a historic hotel you will have plenty of antiques, but that shouldn't include your mattress, box springs, and pillows. Your bed was the most uncomfortable bed I have slept in since college. For $200 a night I expect a little comfort. Just because you are close to the plaza shouldn't allow you to skrimp on amenities... More

Old hotel with old but comfortable furnishings, patched carpet & tile, but lots of character. Front desk personnel were exceptional, food is very good, nice atmosphere and nice grounds. Would definitely stay here again.
