I go for the sub gum wonton soup. It is served in a huge bowl that is chock full of meat, seafood, dumplings, and vegetables. Add a few eggrolls and a beer and you have a heck of a dinner that is also pretty healthy

Honestly this place was mediocre at best. They messed up my order, which they did fix for free. But it still didnt satisfy me... I got moo goo gai pan and chicken chow mein, and they were LITERALLY the SAME thing, but the "chow mein" comes with the small crispy "noodles" on the side that many Chinese places give for... More

This is a classic Chinese restaurant, with high quality food. We visited on a Saturday during a small rush. Our waitress was very busy and still took great care of us. We ordered an Appetizer platter, Spicy Pork with Broccoli, Orange Chicken, and Wonton soup with vegetables. Everything was freshly made and perfect.

Not a buffet, but pretty good food. Nice large portions and very good service. Plenty of parking in rear.

Don't normally think of Taos as a Chinese mecca...but undoubtedly they have some of the best food I've had. I am a hot sour soup snob and give theirs a definite two thumbs up...just the right amount of spicy and they do to skimp on their ingredients. My daughter ordered the wonton soup. Most wonton soup is just that wontons... More

Don't be put off by the decor (it used to be a Denny's). The luncheon menu is very reasonable at $5.45-$6.45. The evening menu is a little more expensive. We've enjoyed every meal including the sweet and sour pork, the garlic shrimp and the Szechuan beef. Not to be missed

It was getting late and we wanted a quick dinner, but not fast food. The Hunan was all that and delicious too!

When we come to Taos, we binge on Chinese food (there are none in our hometowns). Hunan's service is quick and attentive. The food tastes fresh, and is well-made. If there is any complaint at all, it's that my dish was salty even for Chinese food. However, I'll return here. Prices for lunch specials are very reasonable ($6.50 for most... More
