Always enjoy eating here. The Tapatio (Rib-eye steak) and shrimp is so good it makes you think about it for a couple of days after.....you have not had a quesadilla until you try the Azteka. It's shredded beef with sautéed onions and bell peppers with melted cheese between two flour tortillas....very delicious.....great service and fun times.....

Best mexican food in Taos. Its where locals go.. The one on the south of town is different from the one north in El Prado and the food is different. The northern Guad is more traditional New Mexican fare, while the one in the south is traditional Mexican. Try it.

After hitting so may Mexican restaurants I'm finding meal preps range widely. So just a heads up. The tacos aren't Americanized, hard shell. The kiddos will likely be disappointed. I had the chicken burritos with green sauce. Tasty yes. The portion size was great, but the chicken was tough and way overcooked, little sauce at all, and no cheese in... More

We came here hungry after a long hike. The menu was fairly extensive with a good selection of meat and seafood dishes. I had the grilled salmon which was seasoned very nicely and topped with tomatoes and onions that really complimented the fish. The fresh vegetable medley that came on the side was super tasty. My husband had the Aztec... More

Located this grill close to our hotel and we entered early to not many diners but, by the time we left, the place was hopping! You order at a central counter and orders are brought to you in either the front or rear dining area (recommend the rear area). Prices were good and entrees were plenty large and tasty!

The chips and salsa are fresh and good. Food is average but we are from southwest Kansas where the Mexican food is fantastic. It's a good value.

Worst ever. Bland, not even enough salt. Beans came from a can. Lots of food. My husband became ill after eating chili rellenos.

We asked some of the many patrons what they would recommend - we were lucky to talk with customers who ate there often. There were several shrimp dinners. The Camaron a La Diabla (really lived up to its name) and the enchiladas were suggested and were very good. You ordered at the counter; meal was delivered to the table.

I placed my order and 1/2 hour later had to ask for it to go, I didn't have time to wait and eat. Food was ok, not outstanding

Set up like Taco Cabanas in Texas order at counter and they bring it to you. Had fajitas plate and it was pretty good. If your looking for a solid meal at a good price stopin if looking for an over the top hipster mexican food experience go some place else
