I've been going to this restaurant for quite some time now. We usually order take out from here. The pernil sandwiches are very good and the sancocho is delicious. There are always people eating at the restaurant. Little hint before ordering your food for take out grap a ticket with number. They will call you somedays are faster than others.

I live in Toronto but my boyfriend lives in the Bronx and he put me on to this place when I was there last year. Everytime I go back, it's either for the Arroz y frijoles con pollo or the Cuban sandwich. It's like I can't get tired of either one. I'm sure everything on their menu is amazing and... More

Only one of us has had the privilege to dine at this delicious eatery. The pastelillos y mofongo de chicharron are wonderful starters. The arroz con calamares is my favorite dish on the menu, but all of the stews and other options are also delicious. If you're ever in the area, BE SURE TO EAT HERE!!! Sólo uno de nosotros... More

I live in the neighborhood and the roasted chicken is awesome. I usually carry out but I have been opting to dine in. Depending who is at my table, it effects the service. I came in dinner with a female friends and we got mediocre service. I got a menu but no water, silverware or bread until it was requested.... More

Ate at this restaurant during the holidays, actually Christmas evening! Staff was super nice, food was good! My boyfriend ordered Mondongo which is supposed to be a tripe stew but ended up getting a version with bones, not quite what it's supposed to be. I ordered a great chicken soup and of course, a fría, that's the Dominican beer Presidente!... More

Some friends invited us to have lunch at this place. The atmosphere is very noisy and heavy! Service is not the best.. but it was full. They have lunch specials and regular menu options. We had chicken soup, baked chicken, sancocho, chicken steak and potato salad. All were good, except the chicken steak that was so dry. Good Dominican and... More

I used to go there on Sundays with my roomate and some friends, when we did not feel like cooking, I love their food, it's liike a good home cooked meal. I usually had a soup, and some rice and beans; and sometimes the steak, or the stews.

I have been here several times and I love the food. Tastes similar to grandma's cooking. Whether you sit down or take food to go, you always get great food and good service.
