We went here on recommendation as a treat for our 25th wedding anniversary. Reservation is by telephone only, they have a message for the availability of the coming days (in English and French) and you leave your number and they do call back promptly. It...More

How about finding a 1 Michelin starred restaurant in the middle of absolutely nowhere of the southern french countryside? I call that ballsy! Or crazy... you be the judge! Now, is the long winded journey along the southern hills of France worth it? I say:...More

For me, starred restaurants fall into two camps, those that achieve a perfect balance, and those who try too hard and assault the senses. Lagarde falls into the latter category, with too much going on on the plates, too many strong flavours, not all of...More

excellent kitchen in the mountains of the plateau de vaucluse. The menues are changing frequently and always a great surprise. 3 Hors d'oeuvres and 3 deserts. The service is nice by the husband of the chef. Absolutely a must in the Luberon region.

We had heard much about this restaurant high up in the wilderness. The restaurant is very rustic with just a few tables in an old farmhouse. The service was very pleasant but a bit sloppy. The table was not cleaned between the meals and looked...More

Excellent food in a charming restaurant with friendly service, what's not to like? A great place to dine if you like great food, but be warned this restaurant somewhat remote.
