We stopped in for breakfast to find the menu on their website had been slashed to about 3 breakfast items. An Egg Sandwich, an egg and spinach dish and something I can't remember. The cashier/waitress suggested we try the Callicoon Caffe and we did.
Found this while out on a Sunday ride and will add it to the places for a repeat. Coffee bar/cafe with a pleasant staff and cute interior. Had the curry egg salad sandwich with greens and a cafe mocha latte. Both hit the spot!!
Just over the border of Pennsylvania, into NY, is Cafe Adela Dori. It is a breakfast/lunch coffee shop tucked away on Main Street in Calicoon. The owner is passionate about using local foods fresh from the farm and organic, There is a great selection of...coffees and teas and delicious desserts to die for as well as sandwiches and so on. One of the fun aspects of the restaurant is the Mommy Wall where patrons are welcome to put up pictures of their mother. The restaurant is named for the owners Grandmother and Mother. If you get a chance, well worth stopping by.More
We love coming to Cafe Adella Dori for breakfast sandwiches, coffee, and pastries. Also an ideal pre-farmers' market spot. The interior is incredibly charming and cozy, a comfortable place to relax and enjoy a meal or spend some time working (there's free WiFi). All the...food features local ingredients and menu items are innovative and seasonal. Standard espresso drinks are great but look for specialties...their horchata latte was amazing. Service is warm and efficient, an added bonus to the experience.More
