We decided that the outside dining at the Callicoon Brewery would be the perfect way to top off our afternoon after hiking the Bouchoux Trail.. We sampled a great variety of delicious local brews with my wife deciding on the Awestruck Cider Ale as the...best to sip along with her Atlantic Salmon that the chef agreed to blacken for her even though that was not on the menu. I had the baby back ribs which had been perfectly prepared in the smoker out back. The waitress who served us was absolutely amazing, making the entire visit a total delight. If you are anywhere near Callicoon NY, I recommend a meal at the Brewery. You will be glad you did.More

Was recommended by our timeshare so off we went with high hopes. It was as hot inside as outside. Had to ask for our drinks. The burger & steak were undercooked - shame is a EES waited forever for it! Food we didn't order arrived...at our table. Waited even longer to have our check processed. Waste of time & money.More

Stopped by for a Sunday lunch and really enjoyed the food. Lots of specials besides the main menu. The salmon was especially good. Our waitress serviced the entire room very professionally. As an added plus we got to see a freight Train roll through town....The nice decor matches the quaint town setting.More

Fabulous new spot and loved the outdoor seating. Sat outside last Sunday and the place was packed. Good service and good food. Standard pub fare. Burgers and sandwiches. Good sized salads. Would definitely return. Got to experience the outdoor music from the hotel next door....Great addition which allowed easy conversation without the music being overpowering.More

We have been here several times before and all was good. This most recent time, the food was terrible....we started with chicken wings...we were server some wings and some other parts of the chicken...Then we moved on to the ribs and Rubens. The ribs were...undercooked and the Rubens had very little corned beef. What they had was fat covered in some type of sauce. Very disappointed and will never return..More

We came here to escape working away. It was our wedding anniversary and we wanted to eat out and relax. The staff here are so friendly. The beer is great and the burger was one of the best I’ve ever had. My wife had the...wings and said that they were bad quality and tasted like Hooters wings. The beer and the burger were top quality though. The setting was nice and it was great to watch a storm roll in over the hills and the railroad. The porch outside is a great vantage point and we enjoyed doing not a lot and looking out. This is a genuinely great place.More

Two of us were road tripping and stopped for lunch. I had pulled pork, my friend Mac & Cheese. We shared bread pudding for dessert. The food wasn’t really bad, but neither was it really good. We agreed we wouldn’t stop again if we came...back that way. The restaurant looked as if it was still being moved into with ladders and uhaul boxes out. The server was polite but cold. We had to wait for her to channel surf to get our bill. Maybe it’s a better atmosphere when it’s busier?More
