We live very close to the Cooperage so it Is convenient for us to visit and we sometimes get gift cards for this restaurant. It is "hit or miss" for us. This last visit was successful. The employee who wears heavy perfume wasn't working and the employee who somehow forgets you are there waiting for service came in to work... More

Overall, the service and decor was excellent. My husband said the filet mignon was great, however the pasta marinara was mediocre. The desert was great. We ordered a s'mores dessert. We had a great time and we plan to return in the future.

You can always get a good meal at Cooperage Inn. The staff is always friendly and efficient. I recommend the salmon entree, potato crusted fluke, tuna entree to name a few. The menu offers small dishes or full portion entrees. The choice is yours. Give this restaurant a try you won't be disappointed.

A group of us met for lunch. I had the chicken pot pie and it was delicious. Big chunks of chicken and dish so big that I brought half home. Others in my party had the Pork Chop which they enjoyed. Others chose the Mai Mai and they said it was like butter. Service was great. Our waitress was very... More

While perfectly adequate, this restaurant was fairly pricey while the food was just above average. I live locally and have frequented this restaurant several times over the past few years. While I love the atmosphere, there are certainly better places to go for an awesome meal.

It's always an enjoyable time to go out with friends, especially since we don't have many opportunities. While the atmosphere was welcoming and cocktail was tasty, the staff wasn't very warm. Appetizers were good but my meal was not. Short rib was all fat, hardly any meat at all, and the sauce was extremely heavy. The potatoes were soggy. The... More

The Cooperage Inn is a staple for my family when it comes to celebrating. This weekend we had my mother's birthday dinner there and the food was great, our server and the manager are very friendly, and made our experience a special one. The Warm Bread Pudding is my favorite.

I have been there many times and the food is consistently good. I recommend the tower for two appetizer. The potato/onion coated fluke is a favorite. The staff is always pleasant and very efficient. Highly recommend this restaurant.

We have been going every fall since they began. It's great for the kids, the food is good, it's a fun afternoon.

The Cooperage Inn takes great pride in serving the freshest fish, meats and local produce available. Sauces are expertly prepared on premise by our chefs.

The name "Cooperage Inn" comes from the craft of coopering, which goes back a few centuries, when it was the major method of packaging. We are located in the Long Island Wine region. Wine makers have always relied on the skills of the Village Cooper to store and age their wines.
