what a cozy and delightful place! I only needed an overnight stay and expected a drab chain would be my only choice.. Instead, I feel like a spent the evening in Scotland as a family member in someone’s home! Arrived late and they had a...delicious salad waiting in my room, morning scones and pastries were delicious.. I feel like I was on vacation and heartily endorse the Brae Loch Inn when you’re in the area 👍🏻😇 Charming little surrounding town, too!More

We decided to try this because it was supposed to be a haunted Scottish Inn. It met our expectations and was beautiful inside. We stayed for dinner and the food was fantastic. We were greeted with a glass of Sherry as we arrived the breakfast...was also wonderful couldn’t be happier!More

Although we did not stay here, we ate at the pub, which is in the basement and a cool space. We had the lobster mac and cheese which was AMAZING and a salad (also good, but not in the same way). Peanut butter pie was...like a huge Reese's Peanut Butter Cup and yes, you must eat it. The gentleman on staff at the bar was tremendously nice and ran around like crazy although there did not appear to be that many customers. Great service!More

We dined outside with a live band that was wonderful. The atmosphere was great. The tables were socially distant. The service was good. The music was awesome. The food was nice..ate there twice and the lobster mac and the filet were both yummy

Korin on the wait staff is amazing. Trish and her son, the chef, are extremely pleasant. Thank you all for your warmth and thank you for the vegan food, chef! After a 25 person, all vegan buffet for our wedding rehearsal dinner, several wedding guests'...stays, and our vegan (off-menu) dinner tonight, I can assure the Brae Loch is great for food. What's not great is sitting within earshot of an employee spew disrespectful opinions about populations that I work with and care deeply about. Our experience was ruined hearing a lot of comments starting with "These people..." and "They don't deserve...". I won't repeat exact lines, because in today's climate, people are quick to say they were misquoted. Your employee will also be sure to say some over-concerned PC people are just too easily offended. Well, my wife looks like Ivanka Trump, I was well-dressed, and a white male, in a heterosexual relationship, so maybe he thought we'd be comfortable overhearing these particular political opinions. Yes, readers, you have a freedom of speech, but if you expect people like us to want to spend $1000+ on group dinners and hotel blocs and continue to dine with you in the future, you need to check yourself and expect a reaction like ours. One comment that made me want to leave was about his daughter being "accused of microracism" followed by a lot of terrible things about the kind of people that use that word. Another comment about particular members of the House of Representatives that he hated, one of whom I helped campaign for. I consider them family. Sorry that politics came into play with this review, but if you've read Yelp and Trip Advisor in the last three years, one star reviews are coming from customers wanting a safe space and not experiencing it. Just because you are repeating things that a President says, doesn't make those things okay. It didn't make my dinner okay, and it will wreck yours if you are someone like me who is sympathetic to groups that this Brae Loch employee proudly made while standing behind us. Older guy, maybe 50, not pleasant, sinks reviews.More

Due to the COVID epidemic our wedding had to be postponed from the original 04/24/20 date. Hoping to try to salvage the day, we contacted the Fernwood Farm B&B to see if they had any vacancies. Owners Ginny and Howard were amazing and referred us...to the Brae Loch for dinner. Larry from the Brae Loch prepared us an amazing meal to include an appetizer, salads, meals, and drinks (we were to stuffed for dessert). We even go to meet Dunkin! The Brae Loch was beyond understanding of our situation and made a tough night and amazing and unexpected celebration!More

Had a few beers at the bar. What a gem of a spot. Adorable, historic spot. I left before dinner but they had a prime rib roast that looked incredible. Wish I could have stayed to try it. Loved this place.

The Brae Loch Inn hosted our wedding reception and it was perfect. My wife and I recently returned 8 years later for an evening without kids and it was everything that we wanted. The food, the scotch, the atmosphere and the open smiles of the...owners make the Brae Loch a unique and welcoming experience. Honestly, the place is the best.More

The checkin experience was great. The room was fantastic! Our dinner experience was bad. The entrees came out with the appetizers. The filet was very overdone and tasteless. Stay here but eat elsewhere.
