We were meandering south, staying off the Northway, and happened to stop for lunch at the Main Street. The choices were many, service exemplary, and food terrific.

I brought my mother here for lunch while we were vacationing along Lake George. She uses a walker so we used the driveway along the side of the building to access the parking lot behind the Ice Cream Parlor and enter from the back. Both...More

A great place for a light dinner and ice cream. Burgers, sandwiches and salads are offered with creative twists. The sandwiches include a small salad like potato or macaroni or chips. One recommendation would be to offer fries as a side. Different Perry ice cream...More

We stopped for ice cream and left with two salads for dinner. The ice cream was wonderful and the service was fine. I don't think the hardwood floors have been professionally cleaned since the building opened. I always worry about restaurants where the floor is...More

We were out traveling on our Harley and stopped down the road for some gas. We noticed the banner from the gas station and decided to check it out. So glad we did! It used to be a schoolhouse long ago and is now an...More

Cute and kitschy and bustling with diners and hard working staff. I loved my chicken cordon bleu sandwich and my friend enjoyed her pea soup and half sandwich. We wished we could have found room for dessert but the portions were so plentiful that wasn't...More

Very good ice cream with many flavors and options, sundaes, toppings, milk shakes the whole nine yards. Very friendly servers especially working with families and little kids.

A friend took me here for lunch and I really liked the old small-town vibe eating in this converted schoolhouse. It was pretty steady for a Monday afternoon but we got a table right away and our waitress was great. My friend had that day's...More

Just to be closer to this place. We were driving from Vermont and pulled off the exit in search of food. The places we originally were seeking were all closed. Luckily for us, this was the only place opened. We did not have high expectations...More

We found this little gem a few years ago when venturing out for ice cream. We always stop in now and love the authentic feel and good food. The store upstairs has a very nicely put together collection of goods. Well worth stopping in.
