We are from Arizona and this is the first authentic Mexican food we’ve eaten in New York State it was delicious! Great lunch specials for a good price $6.95 includes beans and rice. The only drawback was they charged us $2.50 each for soda water from the tap! We usually get soda water for free so we were surprised! It was a very pleasant dine in experience. We live in the Syracuse area and there are very few restaurants that have dine in!

The food is authentic and of consistent quality. The margaritas, however, are not. Personally, I do not like margaritas made with sour mix and fortunately, La Familia offers one with agave syrup and lime juice. However, it is far from consistent and unless ordered at the bar its been my experience that they don't care whats in it. Last night I ordered a skinny margarita and received one loaded with sour mix. I explained to the waiter and he proceeded to tell me how margaritas taste! I showed him the menu and asked that he bring me a skinny margarita. He brought me a huge glass of lime juice! I told him that the drink was horrible and that it lacked agave syrup and Tequila! I ordered a shot of tequila to add to the drink and it hardly made a difference. The waiter did not care. I will never order another margarita there! The one last night cost me $13 and it stunk!

Amazingly friendly staff quick and attentive service. Great Latino cuisine with interesting and fun decor. Try their seafood menu, shrimp or fish served over Mexican rice with a fresh salsa and sour cream. For dessert I recommend their tres leches. Super yummy. Great for birthdays as well!

I ordered grub hub and while not only was the food delivered sideways, the soup I’d ordered spilled all over and inside all of the other food. My food was all cold. The burrito sauce also spilled out into the other food. This most likely didn’t have anything to do with them however, I ordered chicken tacos with lettuce/olive/raw onions add on the side and received only lettuce when I called was told it was too complicated. I ordered a burrito with chicken only, add beans and pico de Gallo and I didn’t mind a price increase and they made a sloppy burrito with chicken and a sloppy red sauce on top and cheese (I’m lactose intolerant). No beans/no pico de Gallo. Also told it was too complicated. My response was if you couldn’t do the special requests why did you NOT call me to tell me this rather than just serve me whatever you wanted to??? All I got was, this order was all changed and overly complicated and a mild sorry and that they could refund but I’d already called grub hub. I received nothing else. Basically I was blamed. I will never order from here again!!!!!

We ordered dinner online to be delivered for my daughters birthday. We said in the order description that it was for a birthday dinner. Placed the order at 5 and got the food at 6:45. We live 10 minutes from the restaurant. That was the first issue. As we unpacked the food we discovered that my daughter’s food was missing. Went back to the online order to be sure it was not our mistake. It wasn’t. We called the restaurant and requested the food be sent immediately. There seemed to be a bit of a language issue so the person we spoke to put someone else on the phone to talk to us. That person was very rude and said he would be refunding our money for the meal and hung up on us! We called back because we did not want a refund, we wanted the food. We called several times but nobody answered the phone again. At that point we called a different Mexican restaurant and my husband went and picked up the food and told them that it was my daughter’s birthday and they gave us free dessert with a candle included! Yes. We did get the refund, but such terrible service. So La Fiesta. Never again!

My wife and I are new to the area so we are trying food from different places. Do not order from here, the food wasn’t terrible but it was incredibly bland with cheap ingredients. It was way too high priced for the quality. Definitely the worst “Mexican” food I have had yet in Clifton Park.

My daughter took me out to lunch for my birthday and OH WOW was my food excellent!! We each ordered something different so we could share. I did not leave hungry. The chips and salsa for the appetizer were excellent to curb that Hangry feeling.

We used to love this restaurant and we've been going for many years. Last time we ate in, the music is just getting louder and louder. It wasn't always like this. A lot of the waiters we used to see appear to no longer be working here anymore. We decided to do a take out order and the girl's accent was extremely thick. She put in our order wrong because after we picked it up, we were missing both rice and beans. We saw on our bill that we were charged less because she had put it in as an order for tacos and not the actual entree. The chicken tacos have less meat in them. We didn't get any guac because last time, they charged us a whopping $14.00 for the same size you can buy in the store for around $4.00. The prices have increased again as well. We've tried doing an online order in the past since it's impossibly loud to call in an order and the kitchen ignored the simple request on the ticket. This place is starting to feel more tex-mex than true authentic Mexican inside. We'll be looking for other options in the future.

My wife and I have eaten/ordered take out from La Fiesta several times. Never disappointed. For eating in, they have a wonderful staff. Everyone is friendly and polite and will answer any questions. Tonight, due to the current crisis, my wife and I got curbside pick up. I had the tremendously filling taco salad with ground beef (I've also had it with chicken and steak, always great!), My wife had her favorite, shrimp tacos. We also got mini chimichangas, chicken this time, someone's we get the beef. We're waiting for the restaurant to make them in pork! If you're in the mood for chocolate cake - yow! One delicious piece can feed three! The cheesecake is really good. You can't go wrong with Tres Leches or the flan. So, until things are back to normal - curbside it is!

Two of us for lunch. I ordered Andrea...was supposed to be topped with cheese. They must have forgotten. Friend ordered fried burritos. She was pleased. Menu price for both was each $13. Easy to split the check, however when the check came both were listed at $14. When we questioned the price we were told the menus were old and the new menu could be viewed with the app posted at the table. I explained I don't know how to do that. The correct price was supposedly on line. The manager came over and said the same thing, the host was supposed to tell us, maybe I couldn't understand his accent, blah, blah, blah. He finally took the check back and subtracted $2. Then I noticed he did not alter the suggested tip. I calculated the appropriate (18%) tip and we left. As I thought about it, I don't think the suggested tips were correct in the first place. I do not tip on the tax. So when I got home, I went on line. Surprise!! Both entrees were listed at, you guessed it, $13. Not thinking we'll go back, which is a shame as we both like Mexican food.

Service was horrible, our waiter was not pleasant and he was rarely around to check drinks, and the food was slow. We ordered guac - it was delivered without chips and we waited a while for chips because our waiter disappeared. After our dinners arrived, our waiter didn't check back until we were done, and he took one plate away and came back about 10 minutes later to ask if anyone wanted a box. It didn't make sense. Food was good. Margaritas were ok too.

We were here for the first time the other day. We had the Andreas and Jumbo Chimichanga. The serving size was very good. The service was disappointing. I don't blame our server. She seemed pretty busy, but other than taking our order and bringing me a beer, we didn't see her again until it was time for the check. Nobody came to check on us or ask how the meal was. The food was good and like I said, serving was generous. However both meals weren't hot (temperature-wise) enough. Unfortunately, the Chimichanga was warm to start but the middle was just barely luke warm, same for the andreas. the rice was also not hot enough. I did mention it to the server and she was very apologetic. Too bad because the meals were tasty. We only ate half the meal there and had the rest at home where we heated them up and enjoyed them. I'd probably go again, but next time I'll tell the server to make sure the meals are hot.

Nice atmosphere. Friendly staff. Food was okay. The queso could have had more flavor to it. The rice needed more garlic and chili powder but not bad for what it is. Too bad we missed the Corona Happy Hour! Staff was nice!

They make the most perfect grilled chicken tacos and rice! No boxed rice here. I've never had a bad experience here with the service. They make amazing margaritas as well. Stop in, you don't be disappointed.

After a long hiatus, I returned to La Fiesta for lunch after a morning spent snow shoeing in the Adirondacks. I arrived around 1pm to find the restaurant pleasantly busy. I enjoyed the fish tacos and I appreciated the friendly service.
