My party of two stopped here on a whim on a Saturday around 2:00. They do not serve lunch but open at 1:00 on the weekend (at least on Saturday). The ambiance is very dark and it was made darker by the rain and fog outside. We joked about having trouble seeing the menu! We found the food to be a cut above your average restaurants and thoroughly enjoyed our visit. There were a few other parties and a few people at the bar but otherwise the restaurant was empty. It think this added to our enjoyment as i could see how it might get loud and busy during the diner hour. We were able to relax, hear one another and take our time enjoying our stay. My companion had a beautiful steak (don't know the name) with angel hair pasta and I got the burger off the specials menu with garlic mashed potatoes. Everything was fresh, hot, and delicious with a beautiful presentation. We had a lot of fun with a desert which I believe was the Cappuccino pie. It was huge and very, very good. It felt indulgent and a bit ridiculous to eat something like that (we never do that as are always considering our health and calories) but it was a lot of fun to enjoy it.
We noticed the party next to us ordered a shrimp cocktail that came steaming with dry ice smoke! It was really neat. Another party near us sent something back to be cooked a certain way and the chef came out later to make sure it was satisfactory. That always impresses me.
There were several different kinds of Martinis on the menu of which I really wanted to try one but I was driving and I can't drink a martini and drive! I noticed a gentleman enjoying a big bowl of pasta at the bar and I thought, "I can see coming in alone for something like that when you want some good food that isn't fast food."
Although our server didn't seem very warm or happy she did an excellent job providing service that was a step above most restaurants.
I'm sure we will be back. I think my husband and sons would like this restaurant as portions are generous and there are many wonderful meat options. I think I will try to return as we did during a non rush hour and the quieter pace added to the experience. I'm sure this restaurant is hopping during evening hours. I've noticed the parking lot is usually packed. I think it would be hard to hear one another and I'm the type who feels rushed where there is a lot of energy in a room.

Was invited with family for a birthday celebration and being our first time there was surprised by how nice it was inside... We were given a big table that was perfect for us. Our waitress was good and kept up with refills and we didn’t have to wait long for our orders. Appetizers were good, Entrees were very disappointing! $30 for a Delmonico steak that was mostly fatty , other steaks at the table were too well done and potions were small for what you paid.... Best part was being with family but will not return ourselves!

Despite being extremely busy on New Year.’s Eve, we had very good meals, drinks and excellent service. The full regular menu was offered and not a scaled down limited version. The veal parmigiana was delicious as was the frutti de mare and beef tenderloin. Our waitress, Elizabeth Delmonico, was very attentive and also very pleasant even though she was extremely busy. I usually avoid going out to dinner on New Year’s Eve due to limited menu, rushed service and poor food. I was proven wrong at Delmonico’s. Well done!

Menu is changed on new years eve. Sat at bar had appetizer then ordered food to go. Bad idea the steak and garlic mashed portion so small for 24.99 raised prices on this "holiday" as bar tender said would not feed a 3 year old steak over cooked and a cup or less of mashed potatoes. Won't be returning for a while

Celebrated our 40th Anniversary at Delmonico's in Clifton Park. Couldn't have been better. Food was wonderful. Service friendly and efficient. The staff noticed our pile of greeting cards and asked if we were celebrating anything special... and we said yes. As a result, we received a free dessert and a free photo making a great memory too. Thanks to them for a lovely evening!!

Our party if 10 was seated after only a 15 minute wait on a busy Saturday evening, although at 5:00 pm it was not yet as crowded as it was later. We were taken care of by 2 wonderful servers, both named Kiley(spelling?). What a great evening we had! The service was fast, efficient and friendly. Everyone’s food was delicious, and there was plenty of it. We ranged from chicken parm to antipasto to pork chops…and more. Just can’t say enough about how well we were treated and how much everyone enjoyed the evening.

We made reservations for the Yankee room for my brother's birthday dinner because he needs it less crowded and love the Yankees. We were told to arrive about 15 minutes early even though our reservations were at 5. When we got there, a party was still occupying the room and we had to wait. They lingered and I went to explain to the manager our dilemma...that our brother couldn't wait much longer. Well, he and the staff were wonderful and even though they couldn't ask the party to leave, sent someone in to clear the table (hint) and were ready to clean it out once they were gone. They left soon after and we had a really good time as well as great food. Much appreciation to the manager and staff there...it's a great place to eat. And even better, we were offered free appetizers!

Usually a good meal, not this time. Arrived at 8p, hostess seemed annoyed to have to seat us. Ordered two glasses of wine. Waitress was hurring away when asked for ice to cool the wine. Ordered different sides for the filet and asked to swap out pasta and add one additional side. Meal came, steak was a bit overcooked, but edible. The other dinner portion seemed small, but good enough. Got another glass of wine. When check came, both sides were $3.99 as upcharges. When questioned, the waitress said "oh no, the bill is correct". I'd rather give her the extra $4, but maybe not. I think we'll take a pause and find another place to spend $120 for two meals on a Wednesday night.

Service is a solid B-. Food is an F. The least Italian restaurant ever. Makes Olive Garden feel like you're in Italy. Overly salty, over cooked, dull favors, poor quality ingredients, school cafeteria standards. the waiter keep asking, "Everything good." As if it were a statement. Didn't have the heart to tell her, "No, everything bad. Very bad."

Learned a lesson DO NOT got there for the pasta…the lasagna was virtually tasteless and the pizza was soggy and tasteless…virtually no sauce on other item..The steak and hamburgers were excellent..also the salad and East Utica Greens were excellent. This was out first trip to this restaurant…so sorry said our group of 7

Wonderful food that is original and cannot be found elsewhere…the service is always excellent…the portions are gigantic…My wife and I have visited multiple times and have never been disappointed. You will leave with a doggie bad and and a smile on your face. 😁 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

We’ve had mixed experiences here but in general it’s been trending in the wrong direction. Last visit: my wife’s filet mignon was really really rare (she ordered medium rare). My steak was over cooked (came well vs medium rare). The sides were blah. We’ve been disappointed the past few visits. And it’s expensive. I don’t think we’ll be heading back anytime soon.

I can not give Delmonico's nothing but high praise. We visited with a party of eight for a special anniversary for dear friends. I called the restaurant directly to make arrangements 2 weeks prior as it was going to be a Saturday night. Spoke directly to the manager, and he went above and beyond to accommodate us. Upon arrival, the manager greeted us and seated us promptly, and seated us in a private room. The rest of the night was fantastic. The waitress was extremely attentive and very professional. As always, the food was fantastic, and I was presently surprised as reasonably the pricing was. Again, nothing but high praise for Delmonico's and has always gone above and beyond every time we have visited. WELL DONE AND THANK YOU!!!!

Food was great and service was also excellent, however they put us in a room that had a large children’s party. So there was no pleasant atmosphere just very loud screaming kids! Makes the dinner experience awful. It wasn’t like the place was packed, they should have put the party by themselves

Great decor and ambiance. Minimal wait time with reservation. Wonderful staff. Huge and delicious lobster tail. My strip steak was just good. Probably should’ve went with the filet. But overall Very Good experience. Will definitely go back.
