This is a chain, but it does not feel like one. The food is family style, so it is cheaper than most restaurants. All the food I have tried is AMAZING, the staff is friendly, the atmosphere is inviting. And, the cake. That cake is possibly the best thing i have ever eaten. Easily the best chocolate cake ever. I... More

I have been to this restaurant multiple times. One time our stuffed shells were cold. Last time two different wait staff tried to take our orders and were unaware of who the other person was trying to take our table from them. The mimosas are good, but best to just order the carafe. Over all, decent chain Italian food.

We sat in a booth and was waited on promptly. We ordered our meal starting with a delicious chopped antipasti and followed by chicken parm with a side of spaghetti. The food was good, a little pricey for 3 pieces of chicken. They charged $8.00 for a side of spaghetti which my husband ate all by himself...portion was small. The... More

My brother brought my mother and I here for lunch. The food was awesome! They serve family style, so a small serves 3 people with left overs to bring home. Of course if I could, I would've eaten it all myself, it was so very good. Service was great, prices were not bad at all for such large servings. My... More

Enough food to feed a hungry family like ours. There are always leftovers. There is something for everyone; no one leaves hungry or disappointed. The selections are so varied; lots of pasta dishes, but plenty for meat lovers as well. Prices seem high, but look at what you're getting.

We had chicken Marsala, a bit sweet for my tastes. At $25 for 3 pieces of chicken and some bread (you get no sides, no pasta, no salad) a poor value. Service was fine. Place is pleasant.

We come here for family gatherings a few times a year -- the huge portions at Joe's Basement (a loose translation of Buca Di Beppo) work perfectly for sharing, especially if you like classic southern-Italian food. Every dish is a hit, seems truly homemade (not "restaurant-y") and extremely tasty and satisfying. Even left-over, the food only gets better. Best hiring... More

I love Buca in Orlando where I'm from and the food in NY did not disappoint. The service was excellent as well. My only complaint was the little lamp on the wall in our booth and well as the photo frames nearby look as if they never seen a swifter since the place opened.

We had a family gathering at the Albany Buca di Beppo (wow...that name is so hard to pronounce!) and overall we enjoyed it. I very much liked their model of being able to seat large groups with family style service. We ordered the antipasto which was very good. Like my mother would make. We also ordered spaghetti and meatballs as... More

Buca di Beppo is a family-friendly place that serves great Italian food. It serves large portions (to share), and is definitely worth its value! I'd recommend Buca to friends.
