Yikes. Let me walk you through my Hallo Berlin experience. My sister and I were driving back to PA after a weekend at the Finger Lakes. We wanted to stop for something to eat, and saw the sign on the side of the highway. We made our way to the restaurant, but couldn't tell if it was open. There were... More

I've been there 3-4 times with a group of guys. The wurst are great. I try a different one each time. The only thing I didn't care for was the salted pretzel. Another time I'd scrape most of the salt off. The sides were good. We plan to come here about once a year.

I have been to this restaurant many times, and every time I am amazed by how delicious the soup of the day is (it is almost always a different kind, and they have all been great - lentil, vegetable rice, split pea...excellent). The dishes are authentically German and the beer selection is fabulous. I had a selection of wurst and... More

Cozy, friendly atmosphere in an historic building that used to be the Corbettsville Post Office. Opened by a man from Germany in 1998 who passed away too young; now run by his lovely wife and children. They import wursts, beer, wine, and amazing recipes from Germany to create delicious snacks, lunches and dinners --- which can be eaten in the... More

We dined here for the first time just recently and unfortunately we brought out of town guests here. Our waitress was in her 70's and seemed to be there as a favor to the owner. She barely heard anything we said to her. There were two other tables dining when we got there so not unusual (yet). It took the... More

My husband and I tried this restaurant for the first time last week. I had the sauerbraten and he had a wurst sandwich. Both were very good. The service (by the owners" son) was efficient and friendly. We will be going back to sample some of the other dishes.

I was at the Hallo Berlin this evening. The service was awesome and the food was excellent as well. The owner was on site and very welcoming. The wait staff were excellent and very friendly and attentive as well. They are offering a free small Stein with the purchase of a meal. They said the offer was good until New... More

The atmosphere is festive and Bavarian. The food is delicious and amply served. We recently went with 3 generations of family and everyone found something to eat and enjoy. Offerings range from pretzels to wurst to schnitzel. Have not been disappointed with any dish.

Food is fair, make your own schnitzel at home. The breading was not crisp, almost doughy, the chicken and veal had a rubbery texture. All the vegetables (beans, kraut, sauces) seemed canned. The sauerbraten was done correctly. Just not a good representation of German Cooking. We ordered two Hofbrau Oktoberfest beers and got two different beers. (One correct, the other... More
