Perhaps we got them on a bad day. We were seated in a corner wedged between the stack of baby boosters and butt to butt with another table. There were other tables open but when I asked to be seated somewhere else they insisted that was a six-top and we were only four. There was another four-top free but we... More

Late Review - This place was one of the few places still open when we finished in the museum and I am glad they were. The server staff was excellent. Very friendly, regularly checking on us and seemed to enjoy their job. The food was also good. Nothing spectacular but for a casual cafe it was definitely good. Definitely a... More

We are local residents/business owners and this is our favorite restaurant in the Village. Always good food and good service. Casual, relaxing, great staff, fair prices. We always recommend to our customers and friends.

I was in town on business when I saw this location and remembered having dined there some years earlier with my son when we visited the Baseball Hall of Fame. I was curious and wanted to dine there again so I planned on visiting for breakfast. There were many locals dining there that morning which is always a great sign.... More

I have visited this diner every time I have come to Cooperstown. Good hearty items on the menu. Good lunch menu, quick service and super friendly! Great place for breakfast, lunch and dinner.

This is a fabulous restaurant, right in the heart of Cooperstown. Waitstaff wear shirts that say, "We have a baseball problem in a drinking town." They are always busy, busy, busy, so if you go in the Summer, expect to wait. However, there is free popcorn, self-serve, and always a delicious menu that is priced very fairly. There are TVs,... Doubleday is open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner - plus has a bar :) We tend to go for breakfast on Saturday mornings just before we hit the amazing farmers market behind the building. The BEST sausage gravy I've ever had (it's not on the menu - a special) plus they make their own hash! The have healthier options too.... More

A great place for breakfast, lunch or dinner at very reasonable prices and a friendly wait staff. We typically stop there for breakfast.

The Doubleday Cafe is open year round, serving breakfast, lunch and dinner seven days a week. We offer a chalk board of specials for all three meals. With seating of about 70, we also offer a fine selection of beer, wine and top shelf liquors. Our goals are to serve the freshest food, along with the best service, at the most reasonable prices. The Doubleday celebrated it's 20th anniversary in 2011.
