Went there with my friend and his family to celebrate my friend's dad birthday. I ordered eggplant parmigiana and it was delicious. Everyone seems happy with their meal. Friendly staff and the birthday boy get a dessert treat.

A local friendly place with a nice selection of local beers and good food. Right down the street from the hall of fame, a nice place to get lunch or take a break. Good prices as well.

The menu has a good variety for everyone in your party. The Reuban was terrific and very filling. Quick and friendly service. We got there at the perfect time just before 5pm. After 5pm it got very busy.

Located just one block from the Baseball Hall of Fame, this is a very good place for lunch. They have a large menu and the service is fast and friendly. There were six of us and everyone was happy with our meals.

Food was ok. Only place for early breakfast downtown. Service was average. Spaghetti not recommended.

Great food and service. Went back for a second day for lunch since we loved it the day before. Our waitresses remembered us. Very friendly. Recommend the Quiche of the day and the Maple shallots vinegarette.

I'm guessing the kitchen just isn't large enough to do it differently. If they had a weekend buffet geared to volume breakfast food that might also be a factor.

Description
The Doubleday Cafe is open year round, serving breakfast, lunch and dinner seven days a week. We offer a chalk board of specials for all three meals. With seating of about 70, we also offer a fine selection of beer, wine and top shelf liquors. Our goals are to serve the freshest food, along with the best service, at the most reasonable prices. The Doubleday celebrated it's 20th anniversary in 2011.
