I used to visit this place and the food was great and the staff was very friendly. The last two visits the food has been ok and the waiter was nice but the owner was not very welcoming

Mediocre food, chintzy decor, curt attitude from waitperson, limited menu and hours. It's inexpensive so there's that. Haven't returned.

This is like eating in your family/mom's kitchen. It not fancy but hot and affordable. Friendly service and drinkable coffee. After spending $20 for 2 eggs, toast, ham, home fries and coffee at the big hotel just down the street, spending $9 for the same thing is a steal. Only difference is the table cloth and napkins, coffee in a... More

Stopped in for breakfast with another couple. Kind of a run down place. Waitress didn't seem to happy to be there. Worst of all, they were all out of home fries at 10:30 am! How does that happen at a breakfast restaurant?

My friend and I were in town to spend a few days checking out the museum and such and wound up eating breakfast here all 3 days. The food was great. No problems with eggs, bacon, hotcakes or the fantastic French toast. I also enjoyed the apple streusel pie and blueberry cobbler. Both are homemade and I wished I had... More

I think all of the reviews heightened my expectations. Food was average, nothing special. Service was fine. Price was good. Dish collection impressive.

Great little breakfast spot that's been in operation X 31 years. Very cheap prices for breakfast in the $3-6 dollar range. Corned beef was homemade & eggs were sunny side up as ordered. Smallish clean mom & pop diner & everyone made sure we enjoyed our meal including the apple spice slice of cake.

We had breakfast here instead of the hotel to experience local business. The service is good, the coffee will keep flowing, and the food is hearty (not necessarily healthy, but you can order healthy). The portions can carry you through to a late lunch, or you can order smaller and lighter meals instead.

This place s a gem. A real "hole in the wall". We met Donna who starts at 330 am to do the baking. And her son. The decor is vintage. No updating needed, it gives the place it's atmosphere. Cash only by the way. It s like stepping back in time. A vintage Corning ware collection adorns the wall. We... More
