Went mid week, were asked to sit anywhere by the pizza guy, sat for 15 minutes and were given no menus no water, nothing. Will not go back. Eatalia down the street in Croton is MUCH BETTER!
Was at a sports related event there a few months back and there was a buffet. Tasted like typical unauthentic Italian restaurant far. It wasn't awful but it hasn't made me want to go back since. Just not super impressed overall sad to say.
First time at this restaurant. Came for dinner take out. Service was good. Place, although a bit dark, seemed clean. Had a glass of wine and some fried appetizers while I waited for the stuffed sole dinner. Food was ok. I'm told their wedges are fabulous.
Visited for the first time upon recommendation from a local. They have a full Italian menu with some unique items. I ordered an eggplant rollatini, which is stuffed with cheeses and spinach. Fantastic dish, a little heavy like a lasagna, but delicious. Very good service. Home town, family kinda place.
We ate here yesterday and the food is hit or miss. Mussels in a Garlic Sauce were good, not outstanding. Risotto Pescatore in a Light Tomato Sauce was kind of bland. Shrimp Genovese was very tasty, with Tomatoes Sinach and Artichoke. Portions were large and prices were average. From their Site we were expecting an early bird menu but none... More
Drinks weren't good (no Gran Marnier or Cointreau), service wasn't good (there were 4 small tables and we waited long for everthing) and the food was almost inedible. There were 5 of us and we all did not like our meals. Scallops were chewy and Steak was well done (asked for medium) to name a few. For dessert, the zeppoles... More
I had some surgery done before Christmas and decided to cater my Christmas dinner. Best decision ever! Ordered 4 different kinds of ravioli. Special veggie ones that were not on the menu. They were great!! Guest raved threw the whole meal. Requested the sauce separate so I could freeze left overs. Best Italian catering yet.
They just did away with the special price menu. I used to like to order the half a sandwich and salad. Now its gone. Too bad I really liked it.
Do fast food or eat at home before you go to this restaurant! The owner is rude, obnoxious and clueless when it comes to customer service! He ran off 35 customers by being a dictator instead of a host! Have been to restaurants all over the US and this was the worst treatment I have ever encountered!
