Most of the house from 1770 still stands. The atmosphere is sophisticated. While the restaurant stands on its own - the rooms of the B&B are beyond comfortable - they take care of your every need.

I think the 1770 House is best and most consistent restaurant The Hamptons. I have been going for years and it is enjoyable and memorable each and wvwry time. All restaurants should take a lesson.

As English tourists this restaurant reminded us all of Home, a small inn type building, wooden rafter and a country House feel. We have many of these at home, but to come across one here was magical. The food was exquisite, generous portions well presented...More
