Anytime we go on a trip, I always make a point to try to get into the top rated restaurant on TripAdvisor, they've gotta be number one for a reason right?? We were able to make a quick reservation on OpenTable and had a late...More

This was our first time at 1770. The main dinning room is in a very old, very cozy part of the house, the wait staff was attentive and informative, and the food was superb. I had the East Coast Halibut and it is now in...More

I am so glad our group had dinner at this restaurant! The building has lots of history -- original exposed wooden beams, original brick oven stove (closed off and unused) and doors that used to lead to underground tunnels. We ate downstairs in the Tavern...More

The chef at 1770 is outstanding. Food is absolutely lovely. Breakfasts to die for. Downside is that the restaurant is limited in size so early booking advised. You won't regret it.

Excellent meal. It is by far the best dinner place in town. It's located in a fine 1770 vintage old inn hence the name. Not a strong pick for vegetarians. A pasta dish on the menu could be made appropriately for vegetarians.

Outstanding food, ambiance and service. Everything on the menu is delicious and each dish is beautifully presented. Be sure to try the Rosemary rolls, baked fresh daily. The Tavern downstairs has a more low key vibe and serves many choices including a great burger and...More

I am not sure that they do, but the custom here is to offer it Monday through Thursday all night and usually 5:30-6:30 on Friday and Saturday.
