New Year Day lunch time visit. Not good at all. Fish and chips tasted like cardboard. Easily came to the conclusion that it was straight out of the freezer and tasteless.Batter was soft and stogie(Think MacDonald’s could do better ) . Chips had been kept...More

The Smugglers' Den has a wonderful decking area outside that benefits from the evening sun to the west. There is a full restaurant menu available in the pub but a more limited pizza and burger menu and separate bar for those dining on the deck....More

Very pleasant staff welcome you to this impossibly quaint old smugglers' haunt. Menu doesn't try to be clever but imaginative enough to be interesting. Lovely tempura prawns to start, then pork/beef perfectly cooked and all arrived rapidly despite it being peak Friday night dining time....More

Unfortunately this review is not meant for The Smugglers Den Inn, Cubert near Newquay as we are not near the airport and we do not offer any accommodation. We are strictly a pub/restaurant but also offer a 'friendly welcome!'

Easy parking.A local kept secret busy restaurant with pleasant surroundings. During the warm weather dining outside if you wish. The food was excellent with generous portions. Will visit again

Warm and welcoming. Satisfying meal at a fair price in pleasant surroundings with a warm fire. Good local beers. Good specials menu although had run out of a couple of items by 19:30.

They do allow dogs in a specific area of the pub when we went there. We took our Maisy, the cockapoo. It's very nice.
