Went there for quick trip to flushing.. This restaurant is by the temple.. Ordered Mysore dosa, lassi and chai.. Place was very busy.. Our dosa was good but not the best I ever had.. I really liked their chai..it wasn't overly sweet.. Lassi was decent.. There is nothing much was decor.. Extra star for chai only!!!

The place is well maintained and a service nothing to complain about. Only weird thing was the concept of eating dosa in a to go plate which is not the authentic way of eating a dosa. Being very close to a temple and frequent visitors, serving dosa in stainless steel plates or even banana leaves would just take this restaurant... More

Wonderful food. It would soar to even greater heights if they would switch to metal silverware and real plates. But deeelish nonetheless.

Dosa hutt is a nice little South Indian vegetarian restaurant on the intersection of Bowne Street and Holly Ave, right next to the big Hindu temple. The food comes quickly, its all freshly prepared, mostly healthy and is incredibly cheap for New York City. Although probably not in the same league as a sarvanna bhavan, Dosa Hutt is hard to... Went in here by finding it online. Next door to the Hindu temple. The service was good boss behind the counter was doing well alone. Decent prices for New York. Good all rounder worth a look if your missing your Indian food while on holiday ..

After enjoying a visit to the Hindu Temple next door, rather than eat in the Temple Canteen, we strolled into Dosa Hut. Mighty glad we did. The food is phenomenal. And very reasonable. This is quite different from Northern Indian food ... try out several items and share them. Everything I've had at Dosa Hut has been stellar. I can't... More

Very poor service at Tarneit Dosa Hutt, orders placed hours before are never ready, when you get there. Asking people to stand out in the cold. This will be last time we go there.

After visiting the Hindu temple next door, my husband and I came here for masala dosa and rava dosa, respectively. The dosa was absolutely delicious, the filling plentiful and some of the best tasting I have had. The chutneys were good, but not as plentiful as Saravana Bhavan. The indian coffee was very good as well. Definitely worth a stop... More
