We made a reservation and our table was ready on time. I had the spinach salad which was quite delicious. The specials seemed a bit high priced but overall a nice meal in a lovely setting.

We discovered Calageros about five years ago when we still lived on Long Island. Even though we're now NYC residents we come back to the Island to see friends. Last time we were there the decor had a nice rustic Italian feel, very much in keeping with the menu. We were taking a friend to dinner on the Island recently... More

First time back in years. Food was excellent and nicely prepared. Staff very inexperienced in proper presentation and service. Same reason I stopped going years ago. Staff needs more teaching.

Good enough eats, just not great. They try to be a little inventive with their selections. I had the Chilean sea bass special. The fish was cooked well, but the spicing was a little bland and didn't seem to work as well as they might have hoped. My wife had the chicken special which she loved. Liked it even better... More

We went to Calagero's restaurant for lunch and the food and service were very good. The swordfish was cooked as requested and they were accommodating to dietary restrictions. We also had the salad with figs, roasted beets and grilled chicken with raspberry vinaigrette, which was a very tasty combination.

Have eaten at Calogero's many times. Ron and his staff are warm and friendly. The food is always good. I would recommend .

This place used to be great, one of my faves, especially in the old location but since they moved to the new larger space it's been all downhill and it culminated in what will be my last ever meal this past Saturday. My gf's mother flew in from out of town so took both of the out for "great Italian... More

The weather finally warmed and we were eager to dine outside. Glad we found Calagero's! Our appetizers were just average, but we loved our entrees: scallops, shrimp scampi, and chicken parm.

They had table ready right at reservation time. The service the entire time was 5 star. I had the short rib appetizer. It was excellent. I had the pork chop bracile and it was fantastic. Bread pudding for dessert and I couldn't be more pleased.

We enjoyed our recent visit here. I had the spinach salad to start and then the crab cake. My husband had the meat and cheese plate which he enjoyed, but he thought the chicken sorrentino was a little sweet. My mother in law had the pork medallions - the serving was huge, so they very nicely packed the extra up... More
