Since John and Karen left the new restaurant is not quite as good. The always seem to be backed up, the gals behind the counter are not always pleasant and parking can be a problem. I do like their All natural chicken sandwich and their breakfast muffins are good. A little pricey though.

These folks make reasonable and fresh sandwiches, soups, salads, not greasy or pre-made. But I find the prices a little steep for what you get. Maybe I'm unrealistic, dreaming, but I want a larger sandwich, more fries, or a bit less nickle & diming. A fine stop if you're needing a quick something, but you pay for convenience.

I had enjoyed the food at the Village Market & Eatery the last time I was there, so I went back today with two friends. We came into the Market and the first thing I saw at the counter was a display of pot pies...they looked good so I asked the counter girl how they were. She said "delicious!" I... More

I frequent this deli often, sometimes having to circle & wait for a parking spot on our tiny Main St. I could easily continue on my way & stop in New Paltz for what I need, but I do like many items on the menu here & in the salad case. I have previously a few years ago, took the... More

Such a cute spot it will make you want to stop but food is very average to below average - salty and basically bad diner food. Not special. Also, coffee is self serve which was not stated until we asked for our coffees. In my opinion continue on to New Paltz and enjoy better food and service.

My friend and I stopped by the Village Market for lunch last week after visiting the Uptown Attic. The food at the VM was good-we had the broccoli/cheddar soup and half a sandwich. We ordered at the counter, picked out our drinks and sat at one of their tables to wait for our food. Some of the other reviews talk... More

Stopped for brunch Sunday morning with two friends and was a bit surprised to see the new seating setup with a waitress since I had been used to ordering at the counter. When the waitress came, she arrived with a pot of hot coffee and was very personable (also returned several times for refills). My sausage-cheddar-peppers omelet was superb--the cook... More

Stopped on for a late dinner. There was a terrific jazz group playing. We sat at a table outside. The windows were open, so the music drifted out to us. My salad with chicken, goat cheese, and berries had a berry dressing. It was very good.
