Great new beverages on the menu, easy to overspend as they are pricey. What you see is what you get. The burgers are good for lunch

I went with a friend during restaurant week, back in October, and we both left with more than a bad impression. The choices were VERY limited (so we wound up ordering off the regular menu, even though that defeated the purpose in going). Even on the regular menu there was nothing that really appealed. I wound up ordering an entree... More

Went to TuthillHouse at the Mill for lunch after cutting down a Christmas Tree. The restaurant was lovely inside and the staff most accommodating. Food was pretty good and definitely some nice different options. Be sure to walk around the property and check out the distillery if time allows.

The Mill is lovely. The room is lovely. Our service was fine, though the mains took a while to arrive (nothing outrageous just long enough to notice the gap). The food is inconsistent and could be better and should be better since a great restaurant (even with more basic offerings) will always be packed (like A Tavola or the Brauhaus).... More

Thank you for the feedback. I will pass these comments on to our Chef. I think you must have caught us on an off night, I promise proper seasoning is not usually a problem. Hope to see you again soon so you can see how good the mac and cheese really is! Sorry, Michelle Steinel Assistant General Manager More

I had heard mostly great things about this place, so I was really looking forward to our first visit there. First we took the distillery tour with a lack luster guide who was informative only when asked questions. For the most part, he just walked us through the industrial machinery without saying much at all- I found it to be... More

We originally went to the Tuthillhouse for a tasting of their spirits and to make a purchase. After seeing the long line of traffic going back into New Paltz, we decided to eat dinner at their restaurant. The bar area was a fun place to sit, enjoy an cocktail and see the bartenders make their unique cocktails. The old mill... More

We stopped in to this beautiful space with high hopes, to mixed results. The staff, while friendly, seemed overwhelmed by their responsibilities. We decided to eat at the bar -- maybe that's why it took over an hour to get our appetizers, then another hour for the entrees? During our long wait between courses, staring at the sauce on our... Deb, I'm am so sorry about the long wait and bread. I am a little bit confused about the $7 charge as we don't charge for bread. Maybe the charge could have been for something else? Either way, I am sorry about the bitter taste. I do hope you'll give us another chance. See you soon, Michelle Steinel Assistant General... More

Had an enjoyable bite after a terrific tour of the distillery and a tasting of gin, apple vodka, and several varieties of bourbon. Enjoyed the tartine with prosciutto, fig, and onion. Portions were quite large as well.

The TuthillHouse is a wonderful place to be. Vibrant atmosphere, beautiful surrounding, friendly waiters. We got a seat outside on the patio, it was just gorgeous. They had a problem in the kitchen (it was very hot), and so we waited more than 1 hour for our food. The quality was not according to our expectations.

We were attending the Corn Flower Festival at Tuthilll Farm, but it was way too hot and humid to eat outside at the food trucks, so we headed for the air conditioning at Tuthill House. What a fabulous renovation they have done there. The vibe is sophisticated country with indoor and outdoor seating. A gorgeous venue with friendly service and... More
