Crow's Nest has an excellent cod fish fry. I came in tonight at 6 pm and was seated immediately and the food came out quickly. Pat was very friendly and a greater server. Yes, the place is old and run down, but it's the fish fry that you go there for.

Every time we visit Western N.Y. this is on our must do for fish fry! I get the large battered fish fry and my husband gets his broiled. Never have been disappointed! Comes with coleslaw, rye bread and macaroni salad with a choice of fries or German potatoes salad. The building and decor have probably never been changed in 50... More

Stopped for a Friday fish fry as recommended by some people from work. I swear the windows were never washed. The outside was dumpy and falling apart. We had the fish, it was very fishy and overtly greasy as were the french fries. The place is outdated , the chairs are rickety. Every thing from the 50s( hasn't been cleaned... More

We stopped on a busy Friday with our party of 4. Three of us opted for the mini fish fry and it is plenty to eat. The cod fish was good as were the fries and macaroni salad. Rye bread served with the meals was a nice touch. My wife tried the Italian sausage and she liked it. This is... More

Best fish fry in the area! So good with the best sides ever! But get there early or you will have to wait!

Four of us went for a Lenten fish fry and were severely disappointed. Very crowded, service was poor and badly organized. Seating was tight, and everything about the interior is very old. Obviously some people must like it, but just not for us.

I generally meet friends there for wings or burgers. The bartenders are always friendly and attentive. They get a good fish fry crowd on Fridays ( I dont do fish though). I was disappointed that when I met friends there on a Friday, I wasnt able to order wings because apparently they dont serve wings on Fridays (due to high... More

The Crow's Nest has been a Getzville watering hole and OUT OF THIS WORLD Friday night fish fries. I think it is the only restaurant that uses Cod instead of Haddock. The place is not much to look at from the outside, although they spiffed uptake inside a few years ago when it changed hands. Drive by any night and... More
