I will venture to say that this place was one of the best brunch/lunch experiences I have had in a long time. Arguably the best sandwich of all time... the Lamb panini is a must. If not the best, top three - in no particular...More

Great little place. The best bacon I ever tasted. Food was wonderful. Device was great. Not too expensive either.

Made a brunch reservation here without knowing much about the restaurant. We headed into town around 10:30, ahead of an 11:45 reservation, only to find that most of the stores open at noon. So, we passed by Bruce & Son, with no expectation of being...More

We love to go here with our kids for breakfast on the weekend (especially in the spring and fall or in the summer on rainy days). Love the food (the pancakes are great, and they make creative egg dishes as well). Drip coffee is high...More

First, the bloody mary was the best I ever had. This maple bacon in it takes it over the top. I was with five people - we all loved our food. We tried to go back the next day but the wait was too long....More

We had a fabulous eclectic breakfast for 6 on 9/25/16. Thank goodness we had rezzies, as there was a street fair, and the place was packed.

Bruce's was a great brunch choice for us. Offering a large assortment of breakfast choices at a very reasonable price. The menu didn't blow me away but everything was farm fresh and local ingredients. I had an omelette and while it was good, it just...More

Busy summer scene--looking forward to trying it again off season, especially want to check out the cheese selection. Table was tiny and very crowded--not a comfortable set up. Scrambled eggs and bacon was fine. Will review again off season.

Is the owner of this establishment one and same as the person who operated the Cheese Store next to the Rhume Line Restaurant in the 1970"s? We are having a major family reunion during the Christmas Holiday and would love to replicate our 'CHEESE DINNERS' of the late 60's and through most of the 70's. Ah, the memories!!! Please let us know one way or the other. George Walsh, Brookhaven Hamlet, New York - 1-631-286-0172... PS. It was ALWAYS WORTH THE TRIP!!!
