Went for a lunch with my SO. It was at the end of wet season so things in the area weren't really up and running yet so we can give them a pass on not being ready... AC was off so we were melting upon sitting down. Once cooled down noticed the table was crawling with ants. It just wasn't... More

Faced rude staff at the restaurant which is the biggest put off Problem is you meet the staff before you meet your food!

This is a very high quality restaurant with the prices that match the venue. Sadly the food was extremely average and the onion bhaji's probably the worst in the world, I have ever tasted ( a pile of onion shreds in batter. Clearly they broke up whilst cooking yet still they were served to us on a plate that was... More

Ooh this was good. Fantastic food, good service, posh loos , what more can you ask? The only reason I haven't given it five stars is that it was quiet the night we went and was a little lacking in ambience. Not cheap by Gambian standards but at 2000 dalasi for four including drinks that works at just over £30... More

On their website, they say they open at 9AM on a Sunday. I arrived shortly after 11h30 but the door was locked. I saw two staff members, one leaning on a counter outside the restaurant and the other one sitting with his bare feet up. I asked them more than once if the restaurant was open. The one with his... I tried Biryani from this restaurant once found not that good. May be the cook is not having idea about exact Indian recipe.

I love a hot spicy curry, been to clay oven many times but now find it very expensive & rather small portions. Having checked trip advisor we thought we would try KoKo curry. The restaurant was open with many fly's. The waiter's remark was, we haven't sprayed yet. 'not a good start'. The starter's were fine but all I could... More

We were planning on going to The Clay Oven and I thought it was down this road, it wasn't. I couldn't be bothered to find it and as I had the idea of having an Indian meal in my head we decided to give Koko Curry a try. Well I am very pleased we found this gem. The food was... More

We have just had a meal here and felt compelled to write a review. The Gambia is suffering from lack of tourist at the moment due to poor reporting about the Ebola situation, of which The Gambia is clear. We arrived to an empty restaurant but that only added to our experience. Ousman served us attentively but unobtrusively all evening... More

Eventhough their competitor The Clay Oven is excellent, the quality of the food here exceeds their cuisine by flavour, personal service and great cocktails. Definitely a visit worth if you like Indian food, good cocktails and great smiling service :)
