Lovely place to stop for a snack and beer whilst walking up the beach. Menu looked god for dinner too. Friendly staff.

However my concern was the 'bumsters' who hang out in front of it. Bearing in mind the 100m of dark path back to Kotu on an evening I wasn't impressed when one of them asked how much my camera was worth. Answer a couple of thousand including the cash on me. Needless to say I henceforth only used it on... More

I first stayed at the Kunta Kinteh bungalows in November 2016, and returned again for my February break. These lovely little two bedroom detached bungalows are very well priced considering how much you get included. Air conditioning is the only extra cost due to the expensive electricity in Gambia. The air conditioning will be £35 for each room from November... More

We spent the day here on our last day before being flown home. It was always busy which we took as a good sign. The beach boys set us up with sun beds and were great. We went up for lunch about half an hour before we wanted to eat because the restaurant was quite busy. This was about 1.30... More

We were frequent visitors to this bar on our last visit to the Gambia as it is run as a bit of a collective so we thought it would be good to offer our support, sadly to food let itself down this year, a forty minute wait for a tuna salad seemed way to long since the place was quiet... More

We ate here 4 times while we were staying at the Palm Beach and each time we had a problem. One of us had the Gambian fish which he said was fantastic and others enjoyed their steaks though the 2 pizzas were burnt. I had macaroni cheese 2 nights running and it was barely warm. One of us had burger... More

Was recommended to try this place so unfortunately we did Food was not good but the service was even worse. Very long wait and the restaurant was not even busy. Staff were sullen and unsmiling. We waited 40 minutes for the bill which only arrived after we pretended to walk away. Word of Advice....go next door to John Raymonds. Great... More
